I went to high school with Will Davis who also played with Wagner at Utah State. He said very similar things.
Davis was a 3rd round pick by the Dolphins the following year. We're lucky to have Wagner

The friend of mine was an all-conference offensive tackle at Utah State, actually got a tryout with the Hawks. He didn't like Robert Turbin, said that Turbin once got up in a meeting and railed about the OL not doing their jobs, but he said when he got invited to the rookie camp, Turbin came and escorted him around the locker room, introduced him to all the guys, said his opinion of him flipped 180 degrees. I don't want to mention my friend's name here but will PM it to you if you're interested.

He was my runner up. He reminds me Soo much of Chris Clemmons. The guy was a fiery competitor but let his play speak for him. He was similarly fast around the edge and had a motor that just didn't quit. He also reminds me of Cliff in that way, but for whatever reason, moreso Clemm.
Lockett. WAAAAAY underrated in this league and a hell of a human being.

This for me.
As an old school Hawk fan, IMO Lockett embodies all the great old school Hawk traits that we grew up loving about players like Largent, Tez, Krieg, etc.
Work ethic, humble, fantastic community guy, team first. Tyler embodies all the things I love about sports and players.

If Geno puts together a couple more Pro Bowl seasons and gets us deeper into the playoffs, he'll be climbing up these sorts of lists very quickly.
I will tell you this, after a decade of robotic corny Russ doing dumb stuff like going on national talk shows throwing his O-line under the bus? Geno's been a breath of fresh air with his always taking responsibility and candor about his play and love for the coaches, team and city supporting him.
It's pretty obvious his teammates feel the same. They respect the hell out of Geno.

I have to see the team in action with all the new pieces. Geno, Walker, Lockett, on offense at the moment, Defense is Wagner, Wooten, Diggs. Just need to see more of the guys playing down hill and having fun.

He’s probably talking about Tre Brown who showed promise but got hurt. He’s like 4th on the depth chart and will have a hard time finding playing time with the amount of quality and depth we have at the position with Woolen, Spoon, Jackson, Bryant etc

Has to be Geno, because he is on his own warpath and he’s becoming everything I thought Russ would be and doing it without the drama, without alienating social and group dynamics inside and outside the lockerroom, and has really established himself not just as the captain of the offense but a real leader of the culture. And he took a less than, earn everything type contract that gave the Seahawks needed flexibility to sign some vets and rookies making this team better when 99% of players at his age and career earnings would have just smartly followed the biggest bag. Whether or not he had those offers, it definitely felt like he met the Seahawks in the middle and that is very based in this day and age.

I'm the short time he played before being injured, he was a top player in the league.

Darn. I'm feeling pretty silly.
What do you think his problem was after the injury? He did come back last year, he just didn't play much. Maybe he wasn't 100%

I think it was a torn patellar tendon that he suffered. That's a rough injury to return from after 1 year. He did come back, but I don't think he was at 100%. He just wasn't solid enough to win a spot.
Hopefully this year, he's healthy again, and makes a push.

Could you imagine a healthy focused Tre Brown to go with that backfield John Schneider put together over the past couple of years? The youngsters together with a healthy Jamal Adams,Quandre Diggs and Julian Love?
If everyone's 100% this could be the best/deepest backfield in the NFL.
