It'd definitely be an unprecedented shocker for Pete and John to cut a 4th round pick, I don't think that's happened before.

But Jenning's hasn't done anything this camp or pre-season, and when your own QB has to acknowledge you finally having a good practice like it's an anomaly? That doesn't bode well for you hanging around come final cuts.

Funny to see Vannett on this list. A lot of posters here wanted him gone last year. Not sure why. He's a solid TE and would probably be much better on a team that featured the TE more. No doubt in my mind that Dickson will be the odd man out at the position.

I can see Naz Jones being cut. Whatever the hell is going on with him is just weird. He looked so good his rookie year, then barely played last year and was a healthy scratch numerous times. Then this year I heard that were switching him to DE, but I haven't heard squat about him since. Especially considering the state this team is in with their D-line, you'd think a young, promising guy like Jones would be one of the guys who is in to contribute. I don't know. It's just odd.

CJs the player you always wonder "why are they keeping him". Then, when he's released (and healed), he goes for 1K yards with the Ravens.

Would love to just see him in a few games..sans injury.

Norwood, Harper, Durham, Howard, all were drafted by us and then cut. Maybe it's the phrasing but for them to be here they either were drafted, traded here or a UDFA.

Maybe there's something lost in translation.

I mean the same year they were drafted. I know we've cut players years later. My point is you don't typically see 4th rounders get cut the same camp after being drafted.
