I would love to see another blow out but it isn't going to happen. This will be a close, low scoring game with lots of sloppiness. Penalties, turnovers etc. With that said, I would love to see Lynch run over Justin Smith and score from 20 yards out with 20 seconds left for the game winning score.

The hawks are down play makers for this game and will really be tested. I see the 49'rs taking a close ugly game on OUR turf and the Hawks kicking their ass / blowing them out on their turf later in the year. Only if Harvin, Avril, Clem, Browner etc are healthy or the 9rs lose more play makers.

I would take this scenario every time. Nothing worse than watching your team getting smoked at home.

Huh?

Like who? MikeRob and McCoy? Clem will see time. The same offense that made plays last year will do it this year. I agree the game will be tighter, but I am not at all concerned about the offense against the Niners D. Lynch ran for 100 and has scored with Justin Smith in the lineup also.

Browner didn't play last year, having WT3 will be better than Lane. Avril is playing and we didn't have Bennett who can be disruptive. This will be their first game along with Schofield in the friendly surroundings of the Clink. Harvin? How can he be missed if we never had him?

I think the Hawks are in better shape this game than last year. Boldin is not Crabtree. Maybe you are concerned about Shut down Aso?

Tell me about the lack of playmakers again?

Clem hasn't participated in OTA's or practice until this week. He is the straw that stirs the drink on D in the opponents offensive backfield. The Hawks O line hasn't looked solid for 1 minute in pre season or last weeks game. SF added AB, the hawks added PH in the offseason. PH is not playing and AB is playing for Frisco. AB was a difference maker last week for Frisco and Browner is the guy that ovr powers / eliminates AB from Friscos play book. Browner would have abused his ass on the LOS this week, but he is out. These are the facts man, take off the homer glasses. I have been watching the hawks / NFL since day 1 in Seattle, and loved seeing what happened last year in Seattle. It aint happening this year. Has more to do with the Hawks injured than how well our fans yell.

When our Hawks get healthy they WILL smoke the 49'rs in SF....Cant wait to see their fans justify what happened to their team.

Definitely a blowout. Last thing we need is Niner fans blaming some call (there are always bad calls) for their loss, and in a close game they'll think they still have a chance at home. Where as a blowout just says your team is not as good as our team, no calls to blame, no homefield advantage, the Hawks are just better. End of story. So yes..Blow Out (pref one that does not involve injuries on either side, because people blame injuries too).

You are not making any sense. None at all. That is the only "fact" I can see. The defense played great without Clemons on the road. Giving up one scoring drive and another drive laden with runs following a crap call on 3rd down that ended with the defense creating a turnover. Being at home should be quite beneficial to that group.

The offense had 3 straight successful drives to finish. 2 scoring drives and a 5:35 clock killer that covered 70 yards with 3 straight kneels to end it.

I have to come clean.

When I created this poll, I had visions of a terrific battle (like it or not for most of us) with an epic final second moment that ends on an epic kick to win it.

I could totally see the 12 going apeshit, hugging strangers, high-fiving, ecstatic beyond description.

That is the value I saw in the final second FG to win it.

Having said that, I hope the Seahawks wipe the floor with the 49ers and it's never in doubt from the first quarter on.

So Dave... how did "our Hawks" manage to not only win, but put a beat down on the Niners with the awesomeness of Boldin and all the injuries? I mean without Harvin and Browner? Especially with all the impact they had on the last beat down.

I guess the real question is, how are the Niners going to do when the Hawks show up in SF with all those guys healthy?

What's that? Not returning to this thread after the big win?
