Everyone who takes the money will be dead prior to this years Super Bowl because we are winning it. Enjoy your few remaining months spending that money.

Interesting the amount of people who would take one quarter of the payment for a decent house in a nice area in exchange for completely ruining one of their biggest passions in life.

If you want to think about another interesting angle, think about the number of people that say they would make altruistic decisions over ones for personal gain when they're not actually in that situation. There's a term that became popular with the rise of the MMORPG World of Warcraft called "theorycrafting", and it's pretty self-explanatory; but what you come up with in theory isn't always what you come up with in reality.

You think there is no selfishness in wanting the Seahawks to win a Super Bowl?

Ummmm....okay......

Well, yeah, if you want to give a fairly broad definition to "selfishness". In that case, wishing for world peace and doing volunteer work are both selfish, too.

It's official, wishing for a Seahawks Super Bowl is tantamount to wishing for World Peace. I'm changing my answer to the money.

It can be argued they are. Anything that serves ones self-interest.

There's gotta be conditions if I choose the SB win over the cash, they'd have to go undefeated from preseason to the Lombardi (the first trophy) and... be the first team to 3peat. Thus, smashing the Dolphins perfect season record and placing them as the greatest team in the history of NFL football. FOREVER!

Superbowl, money is nice but seeing a Seahawks SuperOwl win would be more desirable.

I have never let $$$ dictate the way I live my life (to my credit AND detriment, at times) nor govern what's important to me.

I live rentfree and travel just about anywhere and anytime I want.

If you live rent free and have access to free travel, you shouldn't get to vote!

100k and it took me about .00001 seconds to decide.

We should just name this poll "Do you think you actually PLAY for the Seahawks?" :D

I would take the Hawks SB win, without question. And, like most everyone else I have a home, 2 car payments, child, etc., etc. But, money cant equal what that would feel like...no way.

Pretty easy choice, with 100K, pay off a bunch of bills, put a chunk towards the house, and use the rest on a superbowl trip to New York this year.

You know, with 100k, a person SHOULD be able to pay everything off but the house note, then spend the rest of the money "helping" the scouting department out a little bit.

I'd probably close the doors for 6 months and travel around to the back-water high schools of this great nation looking for that diamond-in-the-rough who can run like a deer and break people in half by just looking at them. The scouts have to draw the line somewhere, so I'd just start right under the line they drew and work the bottom half of the list until I found the next Beastmode.

It would be the long way around, but would help the JS/PC medium to long-term plan for development.

For our fanbase and history with all our sports teams, a Hawks SB win would be priceless. Can't put a price tag on that.

The Cash in winning by a landslide.

Oh I'd take the cash in a heartbeat.

I would be willing if it was within my power to sacrifice one of the possible and even dare I say probable 3+ Super Bowl titles over the next decade this team is being built for?

House: Paid for.
College fund additions: Check.

Niiiice.

Not even a question. I take the money and I use it to make sure I don't need to pay off student loans for the rest of my life, and then I travel the world. See all it's wonders and learn all about it. The Seahawks don't need a fairy tale to win the Super Bowl. I want the money and the Superb Owl.

Money isn't everything and they say money doesn't buy happiness. However, it could pay a lot of other things to put a smile on the face... Whether I win $100,000.00 or not, the Seahawks are in charge of their own destiny. So, I have to say "Take the money and run!"

That's a lot of money, but in all honesty I'd rather have the championship.
