I think he meant at QB.How do they have a definite edge?
I would agree. Just like we have a definite edge defensively.

Damn good objective summary.I'm not discounting the Niners. They are DAMN good. But our Defense is absolutely better, and it's not close, imo.
I'll give Purdy the edge, IF he has time back there.
McCaffrey is a grown man, so they can pound the rock. Coaching wise, I don't like Shanahan but he's damn good.
This game is a tossup, imo. As it should be.
Home field advantage? Maybe. Should be a LOT of Hawks fans there, and it rarely is packed with just Niners fans. "faithful" my a**
Niners are expected by many to win this game. WAY more pressure on them than Seattle.
Works better even lower. If the DLibe raises their hands the OLine needs to punch them in the gut. It works![]()
It’s so annoying!!!Agree, but it's moments like the first INT against the Rams in the first game and the goal line int in their second game where in both instances, rather than moving, he stands flat, throwing the ball falling backwards, off platform. No degree of in-game coaching or protection scheming can stop him from doing basic things to help a play succeed.
I mentioned this very early this year when assessing Darno's drawbacks that needed work. He tries to throw the ball THROUGH linemens arms and helmets as though the ball can drill it's way to the target. Why is our 6’ 3” quarterback throwing balls that are being tipped at the line on the regular?
Are you kidding?I remember Dave Kreig had small hands, his issues were the ball slipping backwards, but I don't ever recall him having issues of balls being batted down. That said, maybe back then, line men weren't taught to get their hands up, but really, trying to bat the ball down would seem like a natural instinctive play like seeing something fly by you in corner of your eye, you try to catch it. It's probably like golf, if you don't have the correct footwork, or your timing is off, your shot will be off as well.
I thought so.. but wasn't sure and that's WHY I said MAYBE. Maybe...Are you kidding?
Back then DL had hands up way more than today BUT OL were taught
much better before coming to the NFL and there was a lot better OLs
back then as a result.
I'll just leave this here, too :
Absolutely!!What's with 3 picks from Stafford? Delish
I didn't see any data about tipped passes.![]()

Me and Riverdawg went there several years back. I had no problems. I dont think he did either. My SF fan's son is a Hawkfan....so Saw him there and he got a banner for his dad. It is after New Years Day and our game was the week prior. So That may change things. It was interesting staying in Sunnyvale.Damn good objective summary.
They have strengths. So do we. They have weaknesses. So do we.
Time and t/o management is going to be big, because like it or not, this game is going to go down to the wire.
The only mild objection I have to your post @SoulfishHawk is there might not be a ton of Hawk fans because many are literally scared to step into that stadium because of the violent nature and depravity of their fans.
Sorry...wrong site...I'll see if I can find the right one...my bad.I didn't see any data about tipped passes.
