I just got the feeling that the Hawks were so much better of a team. Even when Earl didn't fair catch that punt and they got a cheap TD, for me, I just knew we were going to throttle them.

I thought Britt did fairly well in his first NFL start. And, Zach Miller was a man among boys. It was a total team effort.

Certainly a far, far, FAR more complete team.

Really not close. That's why I was surprised by how many people picked them to win or contend this year.

Niners have beaten them 4 times in a row....in GB in September, in GB in January, In SF in September, and in SF in January. Pretty much every location and climate.

I've seen that team ALOT. No way did they have a chance in Seattle. I was hoping they would win, but I never really gave them a chance in hell of pulling that one out.

It just looks like another SF-Sea championship game to me.

Curious about Detroit though.

Let's see what New Orleans and maybe Philadelphia have before we go that far.

Because finesse teams make it far in the nfc playoffs?

I think Detroit has more weapons and is a better team than both of those.
On paper? Yes. They have all the physical talent in the world. So add them in the mix. I just believe New Orleans and Philadelphia are better then Green Bay even before last night. And if Minnesota puts up any kind of defense they have some serious offensive firepower and do play outside this year so that could be very interesting.

I prefer to hold off on how good or bad San Francisco may be this year because of all the injury/suspension/drama and playing possum in the preseason that is going on. Combine that with the seeming fact that the NFC North looks like a total scrum. And Carolina having the defense to hang in until Cam gets straight and it very well may mean San Francisco could miss the playoffs if Keapernick is as bad in actuality as he looked in preseason.

New Orleans's defense might be legit if Rob Ryan can get out of his own way and stop calling Cover 0 blitzes on third down all the time.

I'm also not sure about Mark Ingram...but otherwise, N.O. looks good.

SF looks like they might regress, but they can still run the ball and stop the run, which means that if they make the playoffs, they could be dangerous.

Philly, I need more data on. I think Chip Kelly is a genius, but I don't trust their defense or some of Nick Foles's numbers being repeatable. It wouldn't shock me if they're good, though.

DET still can't stop the pass. I like me some Joique Bell though.

Posted my extended thoughts to the game in Kearly's thread on the main page, but yeah, very good game, and a ton of fun to watch.

Pretty dominant game guys. Great win and congrats
Thanks mane. GB really got their "revenge" huh?

Pretty confident that you will experience a similar result Sunday. If the division wasn't going to be so tight I would even want the Niners to pound some of Jerrah's ass, but we can't afford it in this division. Wont matter, the digits will be responsible for at least a couple hundred dogs getting kicked in the greater Dallas area.

Percy looked real good tonight as well. Looks like Matthews is still a bit of a cheap shot artist. Nearly ripped Percy's head off.

He does put a little extra emphasis on those kinds of things doesn't he?

Overrated Fabio wannabe.

Wouldn't be shocked to see SF hang a 50 burger on that defense. Would love for DAL to prove me wrong though.

Great game Hawk fans. Your team looks good out the gate - fast and in sync.

Your offense was fun to watch.

And, impressive play-calling. I'm jealous.

Well, I'm not sure who is equipped to beat Seattle, 9ers have tried to get the players to do it I guess, but this year, you have Harvin to worry about.

Yes, they didn't even try Sherman. We forced them into the middle and the only game they had was the quick slant in the middle which we were giving them.

It wasn't so much their game plan as it was what we were giving them. They had time to adjust, but we were having none of it. And we did it with a nickel that we traded for merely days before the game.

The Cardinals were equipped last year.

True, but they sold out to blitz the A gap with two of the best MLB's at executing that blitz. Those guys are both gone, and even if they weren't, blitzing the A gap with the threat of the fly sweep would be suicide.
