Two changes this week: 1) Two polls, one for AFC and one for NFC, and 2) No Chiefs in the AFC poll.

So, in the NFC, at Week 7, which team in your eyes appears most likely to go all the way to the Super Bowl?

Lions have been the most impressive team so far but I can't get away from it being 2009 since a team with a bye before week has won the SB. Maybe it is just chance but I am going to predict injuries catch up with the lions during the pay-offs and the Packers get to go to New Orleans in February.

The Lions are the most complete team and competing the best right now.

Vikings are still the best team. Darnold is a big question mark though. If Hutchinson hadn't gone out, I would give the nod to Detroit. If Goff keeps playing like this, he gets a MVP and another Super Bowl appearance. I think it all comes down to which QB maintains the current level of play, and I'm on team Darnold for now.

I do think the Seahawks will finish the season hot. Not super bowl hot though and who knows if they'll make the play offs yet.

Detroit for me barring injury.

I'm with the consensus about the Lions, however they lost one of the best defensive players in the league when Hutchinson went down. Not having him could hurt them down the road.

I'm pretty much 50/50 on our Hawk's chances of going deep into the playoffs. If we play like we did against the Falcons, then absolutely, we should at least be in the conversation. But if we play like we played against the now 2-5 Giants......

In the NFC, I'd probably rank them...

1) Lions
2) Packers
3) Eagles
4) 49ers
5) Vikings
6) Bucs

...or something like that...

F the Lions. I pray we see them again in the playoffs
I'm the opposite. If we can't go to the SB, then my first choice would be the Lions. They are the only franchise of the original NFL not to have gone to a Super Bowl. Additionally, I like their coach, Dan Campbell. They're also not an obnoxious fan base like one can experience elsewhere, ie Cowboys, Niners, etc.

My comment had nothing to do with my feelings for them. I like the franchise for all the same reasons. But they caught us at the right time and beat us when we've had their number for the last decade. The NFL wabts to crown them and 'prince Goff', thats fine. We throttled the living snott out of them on Offense and few took note because they got away with the win (and help doing so from the zebras). We beat ourselves when we played them. Im just hoping wr get a 'do-over'and can set the record straight.

I don't pay any attention to the "NFL wants to crown them" hype. They do it to generate interest, to get people to turn on their TV sets. As a matter of fact, I don't pay all that much attention to the TV announcers during a game, as I sort of mentally tune out everything they say but the players' names, down and distance, timeouts left, etc., the mechanics of the game.

We seem to match up pretty well against the Lions, but like you said, it all depends on what each team is like when we play. But as far as this discussion goes, ie who has the best chance of going to the SB, I have to revert to what Bill Parcells once said: "You are what your record says you are." The Lions have the best record in the NFC and deserves to be "crowned", at least for the time being.
