This dude has the Rams (despite losing 2 in a row) as the best team in the league. What a joke.

1. Los Angeles Rams (1): Say what? They're still atop these rankings after successive losses that have relegated them to wild-card status? In a word: Yep. Matthew Stafford remains this season's best quarterback. Puka Nacua remains this season's best wideout. The defense is one of the NFC's best when fully stocked. LA will be getting WR Davante Adams, DB Quentin Lake and some starting offensive linemen back for the playoffs. The Rams' beleaguered special teams even made a big play in Monday night's loss at Atlanta − a game that suddenly didn't mean all that much after the weekend's developments ... and the Rams, not all that surprisingly, took a half to wake up. But yep, we'll continue riding with a talented, veteran team coached by a football savant in Sean McVay that can beat anybody and, more importantly, do it anywhere.

Sooooo “head coach” Mac has the best away record in the NFL the last two years , but McVay is a ‘savant’ who can win anywhere which catapults them to number one. Even though he has lost 3 of the last 5 with two of those on the road to teams we destroyed in away games.

They are getting some injured players back. However no mention of us getting our starting LT, starting edge rusher, and Horton and Arroyo back.

WOW! There are a few teams I could see as possible number ones but the rams lost that right when they lost to Atlanta.

I see what you’re saying and I agree but at least there was a reasonable argument that they outplayed us that game (again not from me but I could understand it) but to say they are the best in the NFL right now is just blind lust.

Whether they outplayed us or not, they no longer controlled their own destiny at that point. That alone should keep them out of number one with other comparable teams near the top. And I argued last week that they should definitely still be second.

Like I said, I completely agree, I just think that there is at least a bit of an argument for it last week. There is none this week.

Some are desperate not to give Seahawks that position as they can’t get passed Darnold. Obviously this guy has a hard on for the Rams. But feels much like click bait; no one seriously would have them number 1 in a power rankings given the last 5 games

He missed a WIDE open receiver in the waning seconds of the Atlanta game that would have at least put them in FG range if not outright scored a TD. A number of media pundits felt he lost the MVP race doing that on a MNF broadcast. The "season's best WR" helped his team to the tune of 47 yards and lost ground to the NFL's leading receiver in the yardage race.

Lol Darnold played 1 playoff game on a different team, but since he didn't win he's holding that against this team because "Sam Darnold doesn't have a playoff win on his resume. That's just a great example of the lazy "journalism" that's everywhere in our media.
