Okay, Whiskey talkin' here and I'm calling it RIGHT NOW, the Seahawks are going to run the table from here on out Crsew the Lambs & 9ers and everyone else on our schedule!

On ESPN's ranking I read this statement:

"Darnold leads the NFL with 16 turnovers despite operating the NFL's most run-heavy offense. -- Brady Henderson"

I mean we're all seeing the same thing and this X factor will really make/break the Seahawks season. Darnold is gonna keep seeing pressure in future games especially if the team hopes to make a playoff run against what will no doubt consist of good/elite defenses. He needs a good clean game against a good/elite defense bringing pressure not just to prove it to the fans/team, but really just for his own confidence (everyone can say the right things to the media, professional or not he's still human and that self-doubt is definitely in the back of his mind).

On ESPN's ranking I read this statement:

And he's so efficient at making explosive plays its been fine but for sure he needs to tighten it up a little bit. All the metrics have him at the top or very near it so we've been able to absorb the turnovers. Also with Sundell coming back I'm hoping it gives them a little more flexibility on the line to help in that regard too.

I'm actually of the same mindset, and it's strange as for the past 25 or so years, I've been a huge Debbie Downer. But this season feels different.

We're playing the best football in the league right now, and that includes the Rams, who despite our turning the ball over 4 times, we were still a makeable field goal away from beating them in their own house. Since that game, the Rams have lost to an inferior team in the Panthers, so I have a hard time voting for them to be ranked ahead of us. Neither the Patriots or the Broncos impress me. We've lost 3 games by a total of 9 points.

Plus, we're healthy and getting guys back. I hate saying it because it might jinx us, but this could be a Super Bowl season for us. Knock on wood.

I second this! We are most certainly going to Crsew the Lambs & 9rs and everyone else on our schedule. Maker my words!

Seriously, we need to add "We are going to Crsew <next team>" into our Dot Net vocabulary, just like we did with "Maker my words" and "<new fave player> is Mannn". That'll be the stuff that later generations associate with the MM era.

And he's so efficient at making explosive plays its been fine but for sure he needs to tighten it up a little bit. We need to see him tuck the ball and RUN if there isn't anything there.

He is fast enough to get 6-8 (or more) yards with his feet before the Defense can make him slide and that will help keep drives alive while keeping the ball out of harm's way.

Yes, I also want him to check the ball down more often than he has.

I agree. When he takes off when nothing there I think it makes his game much better and he's more athletic than I thought. No one is going to mistake him for prime Russ in that regard but he's effective at it which is all that matters.

I have exactly the same mindset. Part of my homeristic / delulu fan brain thinks this team should be undefeated. We were the better team against the 49ers only to suffer Riq brain fades and a freakish turnover at the end. We had no secondary vs the Bucs and again lose to a late turnover. Leaving the Rams game which we still almost found a way to win; away, with 4 picks; and missed the game winner at the buzzer.

So all that being said I’m just praying we keep our health and don’t have a meltdown game. They are good enough to handle any team in the league right now.

Common thread with the losses was turnovers. Control the ball and we are unbeatable.
