So, I don't even stir up things. I do post facts. I am copying Chip here, will give him a link. I did ZERO wrong. NOTHING. All I did was point out what might happen when the teams move. I said NOTHING negative about any team.

I got a one week ban that I read the email on 3 days after it happened....the point is tho: um? what? why? What did I serioiusly do that was so agains the rules?

Not sure how he will respond, but I think one of the big (and not necessary) difs is that the Hawk forum allows and encourages discussion about other fb teams, while Chip is trying to be a thug like Hitler in his NFL forum.

Sensitive bunch aren't they? It's not meant to be a place for discussion between Niner fans and fans from other teams. They're pretty overt about this so it shouldn't come as a shock. It's a dragnet for SEA fans patrolled by sensitive, uppity babies.

My guess, probably won't respond at all (to you). More likely that your post here will be put on display for discussion directly in the thread. They seem to be very fond of emoticons.

The pattern is often as follows: New poster says something harmless (of course you sometimes see a genuine troll post) which is taken out of context or cherry picked. At this point feigned insult is incurred by the undeserving niner fans and they take turns quoting one another's insults directed at the new poster (much emoting doth occur).

At this point, you have to make a choice; Defend your post or blow sunshine up their collective asses to avoid banning. Most choose to return fire resulting in a swift and celebrated banning by the pseudo mods (again, much emoting doth occur).

Rinse and repeat.

Of course they do appear to allow the occasional poster to stick around if they start off by defecating on their own team/fans in one manner or another. You already know this though.

There actually are "4" teams in the NFC W - I adore them all though I love and root for only one.

I'm happy Ringless is here to be all about the Cards....and Marvin (hard road right now) to be about the Niners.

I go to Webzone as well as other teams pages to get a different perspective on the Seahawks and the NFL in general. There are quite a few homers on there to make the reading damn near intolerable and just makes me roll my eyes or like "WTF is this dude talking about". I honestly don't think it's any different here for opposing fans. I'm not sure about banning. The "evidence" I see hear seems to suggest webzone mods are a bunch of ban happy fools though.

Yup it's mostly Chip doing the banning. Reminds me of the fat girl who wants everyone to know that she once used to be pretty and thin. If you remind her that it was a long time ago she gets irate and starts to whine.

Well, just by way of example, just on the first page of this thread you basically call everyone there vaginas three times in three separate posts, call them sensitive b!tch6s in another post, and say that 95% percent of the posters there are @ss6s in a fifth post.

It simply doesn't read like someone who went to that forum with a sincere desire to have a level-headed discussion about football.

Now, maybe they already suspected this given that your very first post there was about how much better the Seahawks are than the 9ers,* you didn't substantively respond to people who took your post seriously, and by your third post you were telling someone their opinion came out of their butt.

My point was that from those actions alone they might have jumped the gun in concluding you weren't there to have a serious conversation about football (or maybe not...), but in this thread you've made them look kinda prescient, no?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but c'mon dude, you can't have it both ways. To be fair, I think you got banned for saying "And if I'm talking out my ass, It's because I know it's the only way you'll understand".

You were baited, no doubt, but if a Niner fan in here with like 10 posts said something like that there's a good chance they'd be hit with the ban hammer as well.

I said your reaction makes your banning look prescient, and draws into question -- beyond the contents of your post there -- your intentions in going there in the first place. If you believe everyone there is **** and ***** and ***** why were you posting there at all if not to needle?

I mean, I know I'm always under suspicion because I'm a 9ers fan, but it's not like I'm a big webzone defender or something. I don't really post there, and am pretty critical of the way they mod things, and pretty regularly so.

That said, I know what the expectations are there, and having read your three posts, I wasn't at all surprised they dropped the hammer on you. If you're a new poster and start right off the bat needling people and saying their opinions came out of their butts they're gonna axe you pretty quickly and painlessly. It's been like that for as long as I can remember.
