We should have done 'something' before the trade deadline.

I don't have a problem with what they didn't do. Never been a fan of mortgaging the future, seems like it rarely works out in the long run.

I do wonder what they could have gotten with Lockett. I love the guy, true Seahawk but he's coming to the end of his career. And we are paying 2 receivers $30M a year. Seems like a few teams were looking for receiver help, just wonder if we could have gotten something for the future while he still has a at least some value. Just a thought.
I agree on all points.

Who knows what gets discussed behind closed doors that we don't have the privilege of knowing.

This team is too new in all fronts and they're figuring out who they have , who they don't have , who they like /dislike etc..

I think the biggest moves will be this first off-season. Or at least that what I'm hoping they do.

I don't know about not making trade deadline moves. But this is the same front office that wanted to re-sign Jordyn Brooks in the offseason and lost him to Miami because they misjudged the speed of his market. So maybe they thought the trade deadline was next week.
The question is, did Seattle even want to resign Brooks? He is the antithesis of everything MacDonald looks for in LBs.

I think that comments by Schneider is basically GM speak.

I think what happened is they were fine resigning him provided that he cost pennies.
