It's NOT a one loss issue. It's a falling off of the O's competency over the last two or three games. They sucked against the Giants, we shoulda had 60 points.
I'm not a game analyzer by any stretch of the imagination, yet I see Wilson's armor showing a chink or two.

This doesn't mean I'm gonna step in front of a bus or root for someone else, I'm in it forever cuz I know there's a Seahawks fan box seat in the afterlife stadium.

I take offense to just the title of this thread.

Other than one NBA title that was won before most of us were born by a team that's not even here anymore, we've experienced nothing but misery and disappointment in this town. Sorry, but 14 games of being one of the better teams in the NFL does not spoiled make.

Patriot fans are spoiled. Yankee fans are spoiled. Red Sox fans are spoiled. Laker fans are spoiled. Seattle fans, opposite of spoiled.

He is right, almost every other team would kill to be in our position. Every loss will hurt though when you are so use to winning. This wasn't the end of the world but it did raise some concerns, maybe in the long run it will be beneficial for this team going into the playoffs.

if anything its the injuries that are finally catching up with us I think-whether its the Oline not gelling to the very expensive receivers we have not even playing, the offense is stuck. i love Baldwin and Tate but I worry they aren't enough if we can't block or run the ball-

That is the trend that concerns me..we are deep sure, but missing rice and not really having harvin is pretty harsh. Now Okung hurting again? These are 3 key cogs in a championship run that are very unreliable at this point and I don't feel spoiled one bit. I am worried.

I believe in Wilson, but every QB needs solid Oline play and decent receivers? don't they? The D and even special teams are good enough to go all the way, our offense will be what holds us back. At home, we will not get beat if a team has to pass to get back into the game, but we need TD's not field goals for this to happen. Go hawks!

Denver lost to San Diego last week. Is Denver done for the season? No.

Keep calm and carry on.

This.

Every great season has some ups and downs. SF looked like hell when we beat them last December, and they made it to the Super Bowl. They didn't win but they made it further than we did. It's a game played by human beings, not computer simulations. Sometimes we lose. The 16-0 Pats lost in the SB. We are ok.

Many fans last week: We can't be beat, we're running the table.
Many of the same fans today: We are over-rated, we're gonna' get beat again next week, we suck, we were exposed, Wilson sucks, blah blah blah.

Fans after they win on Sunday: See fans last week

I don't know that too many people here are worried about a single loss. Personally, and I don't think I am alone with this, I am concerned about certain trends that have followed us all season and are catching up to us. We aren't playing Houston, TB, STL and Carolina early in the season anymore where we could get away with playing like we did yesterday and win. We're only playing good teams that have learned how to win close games from here on out. I don't really care if fans of crappy teams are offended that we're worried - that just means we have high expectations. I'm worried because some of the flaws we could compensate for against weaker teams (or decent teams that hadn't quite put it together) are now being magnified against solid teams and it's cost us two of the last three games

I couldn't agree more. Some folks are worried about certain things, like our run game, and we express that, even in a win. Then we get jumped on because we have 12 wins. It's also a lot of the same fans that seem to think we're invincible at home.

I'm legitimately worried. Our offense is trending down in a big way, and STL is a team that we barely beat, and have had historic problems with.

I just did a little quick research. Over the past 10 years, the team that eventually won the super bowl, over the last 5 games of the season, averaged a record of 3-2. If we win against the Rams on Sunday, our record over the last 5 games will be... 3-2. I also checked, and OF those last 5 games, the last 10 Suberb Owl recipients dropped an average of 1.2 games at home during their final 5 games. Rounding down, that's 1 game. If we beat STL on Sunday, we will have dropped 1 game at home in the final 5.

Can't you SEE!? This is destiny!! We have MATH working in our favor! The stars and planets are aligning. I have supreme confidence we will win all games now to due to power of MATH!

So you pussies can all just relax now...

that's because the majority of people on these boards were expecting some sort of 19-0 season

I saw this brought up previously, but did the niners team we best 42-13 last season look like a team that can make it to the Super Bowl? None of these games matter until the playoffs. How you play there is what's important
We need to clean up on the penalties.
The Seahawks can ill-afford to assume that they can keep making the same mistakes, or that the teams they face this Season, are exactly as beatable as the ones that they trounced last Year.
You can never take it for granted that you are a better team, full of better players, because when you do that, you're not giving the due respect to your opponent, and in tight situations, you can lose a play, AND, if enough of those plays are lost, you can find yourself behind.
I'm pretty sure that Pete is letting these guys know where the accumulative mistakes that were made, contributed to that loss yesterday, and that if they don't get their focus back into their play, and cut down on their fixable penalties, they can't expect to go very deep into THESE play-offs.
Absolute is right, there's a damned good reason that the opponents that we are going to face in the play-offs, will have made it there.
The competition is going to get tight, and teams are going to throw everything they have at us, to get themselves to the next round.
You can be the better team, but a lesser talented team can turn the tables on you with better plays.

Did it occur to anyone yet that there might not be any elite teams in the league, including us?
