Well the Red tail was a WW2 Fighter squadron called the Tuskegee Redtail squadron.


Being an all black squadron, I'm not sure it completely removes the racist overtones that the Redskins had.

Personally, I think they should go with a name that really fits DC. You know, something like The Washington Lobbyists...
