So, McCoy goes into their division rivals house, the hottest team going, wins while going 30-35 for 299 yards...but he's now on the bench for RG3? Really?!

Just wow. They could get to 5-5 too, realistically, with Colt.

I think RG3 is underwhelming. If McCoy can win games then let it roll. There are some QBs who come in the league and suck, but if they survive long enough they turn into serviceable starters. Gannon, Plunkett, Collins, Smith, Chandler...maybe McCoy learned how his skills and limitations fit in the NFL. RG3 needs a no bullshit coach to stop pampering him and teach him how to use the skills he has.

Mccoy realizes that Washington is actually loaded with skill players. All they need is a conservative, PG type and they'd be kind of scary. RG3 doesn't get that, at all.

I think RG3 needs a career rock bottom moment. Something to make him step back and actually take a skill inventory and realize what he is and isn't capable of. To me he's among the smartest and most talented QBs in the league, but right now he's one of those guys that believes his crank was carved on Mt Olympus when its probably just a hand-me-down gene from a homeless guy in a back alley billiard hall in Cleveland. Use what you got and use it well, don't disappoint and claim that was the best shagging ever performed.

Smartest and most talented based on what?

Have you looked at the highlight reel of his first season? Runs up the middle that got him knocked around, simple plays that after people saw them once got eliminated. There was nothing "smart" or skill demanding about that year. He didn't have to truly read defenses or make a good decision under pressure.

We can argue intelligence of any player and get nowhere, unless we're talking about Russell Wilson because I think it's widely acknowledged that he a self centered simpleton with some talent. I do think RG3 in one of the most talented but he's less than the sum of his parts. I admit he has a glass jaw which is one of the things he needs to accept about himself, but he's got all the tools.

Washington isn't going anywhere this year. They need to resolve what they have and don't have in Griffin. He's entering the last year of his contract next year...and I don't know how you can give him the kind of contract he'll want.

I think everyone knows that they are playing him simply for what they gave up for him.

No, they're not. But, they shouldn't think that nor coach with that in mind.

Colt has a pretty weak arm. The game was closer than it should've been because he was rusty in the 1st half and his arm was too small to reach DeSaun at key times. But, at least Colt works within the confines of that offense. Their offense ran pretty smooth with him in there. As that game wore on,. Colt began looking more and more comfortable with that offense.

Colt McCoy is a poor mans Andy Dalton. And, Gruden allowed Dalton to shine brighter than he ever should've. RG3 seems to look for big plays first, instead of what the defense is actually giving them.
