Some facts I've unearthed today while doing some research on another project.
Seattle has never had the #1 overall pick. They've had the #2 overall pick twice and both times they took a player from Notre Dame (DT Steve Niehaus in '76 and QB Rick Mirer in '93).
Seattle didn't draft their first USC player until 2002 (DB Kris Richard).
Seattle has drafted more players from Miami, FL (12) than any other school. Washington is second with 10.
Seattle has drafted more players from Idaho schools (10) than from Oregon schools (9).
Kicker is the least-drafted position (4).
Seattle drafted at least one defensive back for 11 straight years ('84 to '94). The second longest streak is running back for 10 straight years ('83-'92).
