I thought Walker was the correct pick for MVP, but after him, it was absolutely Dickson for me, followed by Witherspoon and then Myers. The only chance the Pats really had in this game would have been short fields, and Dickson made sure that didn't even come close to happening.

Or turnovers. Which the Hawks became "the first Super-Bowl champion ever to go an entire postseason without committing a turnover." According to an Adam Schefter post.

Of course, turnovers often lead to shore fields also. Or worse.

SEAHAWKS HELD THE PATRIOTS TO 79 TOTAL YARDS IN THEIR FIRST 10 DRIVES.
First SB winner in NFL HISTORY to not have a single turnover in the playoffs.
THREE SHUTOUT QUARTERS by the defense. Unreal. SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS 🤘🤘🤘

A few missed throws or they put up a 40 burger. I LOVED how Sam didn't put them in trouble. He got rid of the ball, live for another play. Some off throws for sure. But Gonzalez made some incredible plays.
Too bad the long TD run got called back. Would have been one hell of an exclamation point. Definitely was a hold. Shoot...it was a hug 😆

Longshot: But how about Jalen Milroe, about as perfect of a fit as anyone in terms of being able to emulate Drake Maye’s strengths as a football player.

He may never be nothing more than a QB2 (although his ceiling is bright if he can develop as a passer) but his ability to run scout offenses that can help prepare Mac’s D vs athletic, running QBs is well worth the late 3rd round pick.

Ironically, most of us including myself wanted Jared Wilson with Milroe’s pick who was drafted by the Pats, 3 picks later. However, Wilson and Campbell got man-handled all throughout the play-offs and now i’m not even sure if he has more long-term potential than a Sundell at this point.

In weird turn of events, us grabbing Milroe helped us not only in preparing for Maye but allowed Pats to take Wilson and thusly giving us the opportunity to abuse that Oline in the SB.

Folks saw busted Kubiak experiments and got down on Milroe.

I still believe that if we can hold onto him, he’s going to be a good one. Easy to write off now..Sam’s young and if he continues to ball out, he may be the QB for a long, long time.

Milroe is working hard. MM didn’t chose him to be a 3rd string QB.

One way or another, Seahawks QB room is bright.

I still have serious doubts that Milroe is going to be anything. He just wasn't that impressive in college.
