On defense I kept looking for 51 and kept seeing 53. Malcolm Smith played a great game.

On offense, Michael Bowie is massive and played a great game. Breno am need to start worrying.

Others that stood out in a positive way . . . Sherman, Thomas, Kearse and of course Wilson and Lynch.

Also, what a frakin' weird game. I've never seen so many weird plays and bounces go against us, but we still find a way to win.

Oh, and Fitzpatrick is horrible.

Sherm stopping Chris Johnson a yard from the sticks was real impressive.

bowie got a 15 yard unsportsman like penalty. kind of what breno does

I thout the call was borderline bogus. Those kind of hits happen on scrims all the time. Not sure why they decided to call it.

To me it was a clear penalty and a bonehead play.

Luke Willson and Kellen Davis quietly had a good day. Willson had a couple key catches and both blocked well downfield.

Ill go further, Willson didn't look like his usual "I've never played football before" self. He was solid. 1st game all season that can be said.

Disagree. I think Willson has looked solid since game two.

This may still have been his best most complete game to date. He had some awesome blocks!

Eeek, I don't know. To me he's had at least 2 or 3 boneheaded plays (usually blocking) a game. And, ALWAYS in the 1st quarter. He's been just as good as Sweezy in a WTH moment...only Willson's aren't obvious because of a yellow hankey.

And game ball to Hauschka for laying it all out there to stop that runback! Yikes!

good one! He came back and kicked too. Our kicker has proved himself to be tougher than a few of our football players.

Except that needlessly endangering himself cost us a 10 point swing. Maybe Ruskell was on to something carrying 2 kickers.

PS. I hope I don't need a sarcasm emote for this……
