Seriously, though, the guy is also a drafted professional baseball player, he has caught a couple passes, even for a TD, he's the equivalent of a social-worker/chaplain at a children's hospital, and a decent basketball player, too. He's the kind of guy who insists on being good at whatever he touches.

My guess is that he takes being a father and husband pretty seriously, too; sadly underrated values, these days.

Wasn't it the Cleveland game where the helmet speaker malfunctioned and Russ called all the plays on a long TD drive? Made me consider whether someone could be hired to "fix" the speaker every game.

Yeah, winning at a clip as good as any QB, in the first 8 years of his career, in the history of the NFL does get pretty old. So many of those wins are by a "narrow" margin, those wins him and the Hawks just keep getting over and over again.
