It definitely was not fear related. It was about running up the score on AZ and the bills and he said, someone should break Wilson's leg.

He never said it. He said after weeks 14 and 15, he was fearful of someone retaliating against Wilson for Carroll's running up of the score. Of course, to the Seahawks fanbase, consisting of tween 11yo girls, it was misquoted and hurt everyones vaginas.

So he didn't say someone SHOULD do it. He's saying that's what someone would likely do to get revenge on pete for running up the score.

Watching it now. Said the Redskins we're Hearns, and the Seahawks Haggler. When Wilbon asked can you admit their pretty good? Tony said "no, they're awfully good", "they'll win in Atlanta" and "Lynch cuts back better than any other big back".
