The difference in pass pro was night and day. Wilson was having a lot more time to pass. That's because Unger, as center, is responsible for making line calls to adjust for the defensive lookis.

Pass pro was better today, but run blocking did seem to take a step back as well. So far this season we have yet to have a game where both run and pass blocking were both working in tune.

Yeah, the run pro looked off today. I wish I had kearly-like skills to decipher all the issues.

My edumicated guess is that LJP is a bit more of a beastly run blocker, and our lack of very effective lead blocking magnifies that.

I think the run game hasn't been good all season.. If not for lynchs crazy extra effort, we wouldn't have this much yards.. O-line injuries are part of the reason, but I think Mike Rob not in there is the key. Him n lynch had a thing together.. I still don't understand why they couldn't just give the 1.5 million to Mike Rob while guys like Sidney rice getting 7-8 million n Mcquiston 3-4 million for doing nothing to help this team!!

It's hard to tell unless you're privy to the communicating going on up there how much of an impact Unger being out made, but the results are undeniable. Protection yesterday was lots better than in has been in recent weeks, and Russell's numbers, particularly his completion percentage, showed it.

Playing at home didn't hurt, either. A better yardstick to measure the difference Unger makes will come this Thursday.

Nice to have Unger back for certain. But again with the bad snap(s) he had several of those before his injury was made public and another yesterday. Just wondering if he is 100% healed?

That's one of my pet peeves with Max, he struggles with the long snap.
It's not just this year, he struggled with this same issue, last year.
I don't see this being fixed any time soon.
