I know you all are too.

To be so dominant on the road and then come home and rarely win? I just don’t get it. Nor do the players and coaches. It’s a real mystery.

You have the 12s roaring. Yet opponents are no longer intimidated by the atmosphere like they used to be. Silent counts and off they go.

Shrug. What gives?

The Seahawks franchise biggies, including the owner, GM, and coach, all need to take a long hard look at this. I don't even want them to try to reach their desired destination until it has been categorically rectified, because it would be far preferable to have a legitimately advantageous and intimidating stadium at home, in Seattle frickin' USA, when we start playing games in the playoffs. Such is what they'll likely need anyway if they have any hope of one day seeing their reflection in the Lombardi.

If you want a true home-field advantage, how about giving season ticket holders a serious discount on their tickets but the caveat is they are non-transferable. This way you are guaranteeing fans of the team actually go to the games without selling their tickets. Just a thought.

I don't think that's the answer to winning games on the field. Even though the crowds are different than they were during the LOB era, we still have a significant home field advantage, or at least we should. There's no excuse for us not having a better home record than what we've seen over the past few years.

If we want answers, we need to look inside the locker room for them. This is strictly a team performance issue.

Yeah. Losing sucks but I came away from watching the game more positive about the Seahawks. I know they can fix the defense but I did not know they had that in the offense.

Financial gimmicks with the tickets for STH won't help. This isn't about prices or portability.

The answer is on the field and in the locker room.

It really makes no sense whatsoever. How can a Hawks player NOT feed off that crowd noise? Yet, somehow, they don't. At least as a team. I'll tell you what: I'm not superstitious (I am a little stitious), but I wouldn't mind not seeing any more special uniform combinations at home. Just go with the current all blue unis. It's a start. Figure out what else is going wrong along the way.

You know what I mean. He was a beast. Still a team loss though. My point is that the crowd and HFA get blame sometimes, even if the team craps the bed.

So it may surprise you to know that this is a trend around the league. Home teams lost more games than the visiting team in the NFL last year, and the trend has been growing the last few years.

Here is my theory: The crowd noise actually disrupts the defense more than the offense. Teams run defenses now that rely on a lot of communication, mainly done by voice. That is disrupted by crowd noise. Offenses run scripted plays that don't require voice communication. Now that the offenses have figured out how to avoid procedure penalties due to crowd noise, the noise is actually hurting the home team defense more than the visiting offense.

We are beating Jax next week. I know they are improved. I don't care. We are winning that game. They will have a short week to prepare. And more importantly, it's a road game for us. Getting good vibes. 😎

How many Bucs fans were at the game - I was multitasking watching Jays/Yankees at the same time - but it looked like there was ALOT of them in the stands.

And that's a long ass flight/travel to boot......

This was a strange week for home teams in the NFL. Majority of them lost. Eagles, Bills, Seahawks, Bengals, Ravens, Rams, Cards, and Chargers to name a few.

Maybe everyone should sell their tickets and they can treat home games like road games

I am on the visitor side and I am tired of always seeing the same seats sold week after week. When I first got my tickets in 2009, you could count on the same group of people being at every game, week after week. Around the 2016/2017 years thing changed. New faces every week, and way more visiting fans for the bigger name teams.
