Correct assessment. There is no fear of performing horribly. Every single year they have guys on the roster who actually play fairly regularly, who absolutely suck, but are held onto & still played until the trade deadline. By the time Dibozo finally admits his prize platoon dumpster dives aren't working, the damage has been done.

Maybe not scared of the manager, but a little, but really scared of being cut dropped or traded, Seahawks cut drop and trade, Detroit tigers cut drop and trade, Tampa bay sunshine rays cut drop and trade. Players come to Seattle to be Rip Van Winkle and nap….
