The Seahawks announce game themes for the 2023 season, including the dates they will wear throwback uniforms and will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Super Bowl winning 2013 team.

I’m not 100% sure they had full control.
It’s very possible the league had some input on this stuff.

Maybe someone knows for sure?

I can't say for 100% as I can't seem to find a link right now, but I remember reading at one point, that teams need to notify the league by a certain date if they want to wear alternate uniforms.

With that, I assumed that meant teams choose and that's that, unless the league has some reason to veto a choice. They may need to choose a week with an alternate uniform that works in conjunction. ie both being throwback or both being color rush. This would mean both teams have to agree.

Like I said, take this with a grain of salt, it takes something I heard some time ago, which could have changed and adds some assumptions.

Kinda why I’m thinking it’s possible that the league had some involvement.
No telling how much control they have but it wouldn’t surprise me.

All I can say is this:

If we lose to the Browns while wearing them, they better be buried never to be seen again.

Im not against the nostalgia but they do remind me more of losing than winning.

They remind me of the endless potential of youth and of some special people I'll never see again...

Win or lose.... I'm all in and can hardly wait. I'm stoked to watch the game with my 17 year old. It may be a tad tough to not envision Kosar vs. Krieg a few times.
