Aggrivating because I feel this mentality is what forces us to play from behind by several TDs in too many of our games. Pete still doesn't fully realize the built-in efficiency and ball protection he has at QB. We spot other teams several TD because of systemic causes.

It's quite funny because we only went down by 2 TDs in 2 games all season and both were in the playoffs. In one of those (Washington) we conceded on the opening drive, went 3 and out with 3 dropbacks then conceded another TD to go 14 points behind - in the Atlanta game we had a 8-10 run (designed) pass ratio before going down 20-0 (then in the following drive had 3 designed rushes and 10 dropbacks).

I would like to see better pass protection, and far fewer hits on Wilson. He does a great job of minimizing these issues, but hells bells lineman keep those DL off of him!

And, on both sides of the ball I would like to see a little more domination in 4th down situations. No reason we shouldn't be able to get a yard every time we try, and no reason we shouldn't be able to keep other teams from gaining said yard. 4th downs say a lot about a team, and I think we have the personnel to dominate on those downs.

Defense:
1) Stop giving up game winning drives on the opposing team's last freaking possession!!!
2) Stop giving up first downs on 3rd & long.
3) Stop getting gashed up the middle in the run game.

Offense:
1) Better guard play all the way around, especially in pass pro.
2) Cut fumbles by at least 60%.
3) WRs getting open on a far more consistent basis (should happen due to Percy) so Russ doesn't have to run around waiting for someone, anyone to be open downfield.

The joys of when people do their homework instead of just trying to remember what happened.
