That's the look of a man who knows his job this year is done. Now the weight of the season is off his shoulders, and he can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing he got the team the glory and the hardware they worked so hard for.

So proud of this man and this team, this year was truly special, in more ways than one.

Pardon my sappiness, just wanted to make that known among fellow 12's.

On Kimmel he said was watching the fireworks. :)
I figured, that or the confetti. But like Hawkpower just said, he has the look of wonder on his face, that he's soaking in the fact that those fireworks are going off in celebration over his teams victory.

BTW, time to update your signature, Sutz. 😉

I wonder how many coaches don't take the time to appreciate that moment.....to recognize how special it is as its taking place

The boy like wonder is all of us

I can't remember where I heard it but there was an interview and Mike mentioned that another coach or someone had reminded him to not forget to "look up". To take in the full moment and be present. When I heard that interview and then saw that moment of him doing exactly that I was astounded. His humility to listen to others, be present in the moment, and to love those around him is special. We have a generational coach for years to come my friends.
