But if the Seahawks could take 1 player from the other NFC West teams. Who would they be and why? Remember, this isn't Madden, Salary Cap stays on

Just a time wasting exercise, you don't have to play or comment on how useless hypotheticals are:

For me, its three first rounders taken after the new CBA... ironically all out of LSU.

Rams: DT, Michael Brockers

Seahawks 3T rotation has been effective but with Brockers it becomes a dominant force with an effective rotation.

Cards: CB, Patrick Peterson

Legion of Boom with Peterson would be the equivalent of.a nuclear apocalypse to opposing passing offenses.

49ers: many would grab O-Line help but ill take S, Eric Reid.

Seahawks have went through Babineaux, Bigby, Legree, and Guy looking for a perfect 3rd safety, the BIG safety. Reid can play either FS or SS and allow Thomas and Chanchellor to line up at slot or linebacker more, respectively.

All in all, I think these 3 players could take the Seahawks D from best D in the NFL to greatest of all time.

Yeah I definitely meant coincidentally... thanks, Professor but isn't that Roland's job (if I'm not mistaken)?

I think this D could already be the greatest of all time now that it's got all its pieces together. I wouldn't take Peterson over Browner, even if Browner's having an off year. They're about the same stat wise except Browner averages 30 yds per INT return and Peterson only picks up 10 yds per INT.

Eric Reid is going to be great, but we're already stacked pretty well at S and Reid isn't a third stringer.

If I could take anyone, I'd take JJ Watts.

:th2thumbs:

Ironic in all of its forms has ALWAYS been a peeve of mine. More than a peeve, somehow. I am convinced it is used INCORRECTly more often than properly.

I never use the word.

Despise it.

Just Iupati?

He was my first choice from the 49ers but the others will remain cheaper options.

I think I would take Jonathon Cooper though, if he wasn't injured.

If it's one from each team,

Rams: Robert Quinn
Niners: Anthony Davis
Cards: Jonathon Cooper

If it's just one player from the entire NFC West, than I'll take Iupati.

I could live without anyone on the Rams, but Calais Campbell and Mike Iupati are guys I'd want on this team.

I edited the question to clarify what is being asked.

But I also liked the question: If you could choose JUST 1 Player from the NFL West teams, who would it be and why?

For me, it will be Larry Fitzgerald.

I'd cut Rice.
Let Golden Tate walk after this year.
Trade Baldwin to the Colts for 3rd Rounder.
And
Maybe ask Fitzgerald to restructure to Percy Harvin money, you know I think he would do it, he's loaded but I think he wants leave his legacy with multiple Championships if he could help it.

Having Fitzgerald is like having Sidney Rice in Reggie Wayne's elite form. Fitzgerald at Flanker, Kearse/Harvin at Split-End, and Harvin at Slot in 3 WR Sets would be absolutely devastating.

And if you had asked me as GM, it would be a hard choice and I would lean towards pulling the trigger if the Cardinals offered WR Larry Fitzgerald + TE Rob Housler for WR Sidney Rice, WR GoldenTate, and TE Zach Miller, plus our entire 2014 Draft Selections. I don't know for sure, but I think Fitzgerald would be a Seahawk in that scenario.

Navarro Bowman. I watched him closely this year and he's a lot faster than I previously thought. Replace Wright with Bowman and you won't see WRs and RBs running away from our LBs anymore.

Chris Long. We don't really need him, but he's the biggest upgrade off that team, IMO. The Rams tackles are a shade above league average, IMO.

Honey Badger. First, because he's a fun player. Second, because we've been depleted at big nickle safety pretty much all season. Peterson and Washington are probably better, but Matheiu fills a hole on our roster.
