Feel free to bash the Rams this season.

But let's not get carried away historically here...

http://nflspinzone.com/2014/08/14/stati ... greatness/

We're 9th. The Seahawks and Cardinals are tied for 20th. The Rams have been suffering for around 20 years now....but that's really just a stretch that most teams go through. The Cardinals and Seahawks were irrelevant from the time of their birth until the early/mid 2000s. Neither of you had ever been to a super bowl. Playoff wins prior to 2000s? Not many.

On top of that: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/9571 ... ge/page/14

Our all time winning % is higher....just for those that want to talk about how the Seahawks haven't been around as long. No matter how you slice it, neither the Cardinals nor the Seahawks franchises have ANYTHING on the Rams....not One. Single. Thing.

So bash Fisher...that's fine. He should be fired. Bash St. Louis...whatever. We suck this year. We've been bad for a few years now.

But don't bring up history....because it doesn't look favorable on Seattle or Arizona in any way. I'd think that if any fanbases know what we're going through right now, it'd be you guys.

And before I get accused of bringing up the past like Niner fans do....the original post said "going back to 1990"...that's history, so I brought up some more history.

Feel free to bash me too...I was wrong. I thought the Cardinals wouldn't be good. Thought the Rams would be better. I was dead wrong. Now the Rams have to start over.

Seriously?

Sooooo.......

If I point out the 6th ranking and 5 rings does that make me the winner of the argument?

Come on dude....It's lame when teams with successful histories claim them in this type of argument....but a team with one ring and a whole lotta losing? Don't give me the "before I get accused" argument...you did exactly what Niner fans are constantly accused (and often are guilty) of.

Please.

Only thing that's pertinent is that even after one of the worst offseasons in NFL history the 49ers have the same record as the your Rams who were supposed to have a powerhouse of a roster.

Theres also two NFL Championships. Don't brag about any rings obtained through cheating.

....................

I think you missed the point in a big way there homey.

not caring doesnt make the fact go away

No but it doesn't make me care any more either.

Rams have ONE Lombardi trophy. 49ers have FIVE Lombardi trophies.

NEITHER matters a whoop.

if they didnt matter, the data would have never been kept.

again, the Championships didnt just start in 1965.

Jeff Fisher is the most overrated coach in the history of the NFL. No coach has done less with more than this guy.

Mike Shanahan is up there too, but he at least has a couple of rings thanks to Terrell Davis.

History doesn't matter ever.

If one doesn't remember history you are doomed to repeat mistakes of the past, problem is the Rams can't seem to read and understand what made them successful pre Georgia Frontierre. They do have a defense that could be considered a attribute and recognition of the Fearsome Foursome, but they have no idea about a offense and how to make one compliment the defense. Ground Chuck or Sid Gillman or John Robinson, all had a vision on how it was suppose to work and made it the identity of the team when they had the ball. They went thru a few QB's as well not just one. They system supported being able to do this and when they hit on a good QB it made them that much tougher.

I sense this poster is from ST Louis ? So....ST Louis offered an open checkbook and the Rams moved in the early 90's. Have to ask, because this kinda hits close to home with all of Seattle's beloved franchises, and it happened to one of them.

RAMFAN, were you a fan of the Rams before they were hijacked out of LA / Anaheim?

The Hawks were almost ripped out of Seattle the same way the Rams were yarded out of So Cal. Piss poor ownership, stripped the team of quality players, ran in to the iceberg then lack of attendance used as the reason for relocating. You being a Rams fan and all probably know the history better than me, right??

I hope the Rams move back to LA, that's where they belong and it would right a long over due wrong in my book. If your really a fan of the Rams you will still be when they move back home. Claiming your team is so much better than the Hawks is dumb. I bet you weren't alive when the Rams were relevant in LA. One of my best friends in HS was a Rams fan, the team being stripped down to Atlanta Falcons level during the late 80's was brutal for him, especially since we lived in niner country.

You know it's been really sad for a really long time when fans have nothing left but the old "Back in the olden days... :les:" argument.

Maybe don't use old data to back up your argument.

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/

Seahawks: 312-312, .500
Rams: 537-541-21, .498.

Welp, so much for that argument.
