The only thing this lost showed me

Was the importance of having a block and catching TE safety valve like Zack Miller who I feel is severely overrated. Sidney is not the overtop guy you need in a number receiver but can slip past defenders if the threat of an underneath TE threat forces the linebackers to stay close.

Luke Wilson had a couple of good receptions but indy wasn't biting and it clearly paid off. Zack should be back in a few weeks. I kinda miss McCoy to but I don't know when he is slated to come back.

It was good for Luke Wilson to play that much. He's good after the catch. There was one play where broke a tackle and had a nice gain. We need quality tight end play. He'll be a nice complement to Miller moving forward. I'd like to see some more passes to the TEs over the middle from both of them.

Wilson played pretty well, but this was arguably the WORST game for Miller to miss, what with three starting O-Lineman out. We sorely missed his pass blocking and ability to find space out in coverage.

Wilson may have made a couple nice catches, but he was subpar on pass blocking........and it hurt Wilson's ability to go through his progressions properly without having to scramble to buy more time.

Miller is great. He scores out better at blocking then the OL men. He has 0 QB pressures and of course he is sure handed.
