The one frustrating thing about this team

The physical way they play and how NFL rules are getting dumbed down.... they are going to get called for a good amount of penalties a game and I have accepted that now. That call on Sherman was terrible, but Earl got away with a blatant PI and Sherman might have as well on that 2 point conversion. Clemons got away with a facemask that would have had us furious if RW didn't get the call.

I wouldn't trade it though, ill take a couple penalties here and there if we can keep up the physicality. During the games I always have my green and blue glasses on and scream how the refs are terrible but more often than not now when I watch the replay now it is the right call.

Still this defense is awesome. Remember that 10 points were caused from TO's of the offense and another 6 because we were a soft zone (I know how much of you hated this but it was the correct move to kill a ton of clock in a 3 possession game).

Get Okung + Giac back. Oh yea Percy Harvin too. This team like last year is going to play its best football down the stretch. Difference is we aren't in any sort of hole.

I honestly thought that they were being super cool to us after that horrible missed PI on rice. The called PI on PP the next drive against Tate was pretty ticky-tacky and I just assumed it was part of the makeup call.

I totally disagree.

We get away with A LOT, and Mayock called out the blatant holds 3-4 times last night that didn't get called against us. The most egregious was Earl's hold later in the game, totally had the receiver's left harm held.

Holmgren also talked about this on Mitch's show this morning, said he would have blown a gasket last night if he was Bruce Arian with how the refs were letting Seattle defense just manhandle Arizona's receivers.

But give credit to Pete and Quinn for coaching our defense to toe the line between fair and foul.

I'll take it, because as I see it?, the GOOD outweighs the BAD, and the 6 & 1 for the first time in Seahawks History, WITH AN OFFENSE THAT IS STILL LACKING A TON!
The zone coverage/prevent defense that we reverted to in the 4th quarter last night, started to piss me off, until I caught a glimpse of Palmers face, and saw that he knew that they had too much hill to climb, with too little time to get there.

Hmmm disagreeing with me or someone else? If you read the post I said that we got away with a few last night and that most of the calls we do get typically are the correct calls, because I completely agree with your thoughts.

The refs were letting a lot go. And called a few dumb ones.

The PI call on Sherman was just terrible. You can't play defense any better than that.

The call on Rice I can actually see the whole "incedental contact" as Tyrann M. actually sold it well. I didn't see the feet get tangled, but he sold it, then went down face first and took Rice down. The egregious non call was the blatant hold 10 yards earlier that spun Rice halfway around.

Earl's hold was legit, but Mayock also said it was really sneaky and "kinda cool" how well he hid that. If you're a veteran DB and you have a rep as a good cover guy, you're going to get away with some of those if you know how to hide it. It gets done to us, yes it makes me mad when it's done to us, yes I'm a hypocritical fan that way. My initial response is to get pissed, but when I see the replay it's usually the right call.

The thing that drives me nuts is the inconsistency of PI calls. It varies so much from crew to crew that I find it amazing that guys can even play DB in this league. It's getting really tough.
