Arians is full of himself. The dude prepped his team to play but didn't expect to get smacked in the mouth. The Hawks brought it, and never get blown out. AZ is good for one Seahawks blow out a year. Doesn't matter who the coach and players are.

It is amazing to me how the cards fans are eating this up. I have seen several comment sections on espn where cards fans are blasting hawks fans for being total idiots for falling for arians ruse. If Palmers crybaby face and arians about to explode on the sidelines before the half was acting, then they deserve oscars.

Can't wait for his excuse when the Skins beat them in a couple weeks. Maybe he didn't want the Seahawks to see his whole game tape.

Reporter: Bruce your team looked like dog shit out there today, what happened?

Bruce: Well we didn't want to show the other playoff teams our whole play book so we kept it real simple like.

Reporter: Yeah but you lost and now your out of the playoffs.

Bruce: Yeah I see your point. I guess maybe we didn't quite think it through far enough. But hey next year they won't know what to expect in the regular season.

Reporter: So you'll open up your playbook next regular season?

Bruce: God no. Are you stupid?

One fun thing about this though. If we do play AZ in the playoffs, Arians just provided some serious bulletin board material.

The way the whole narrative changed from Arians and some of the Cardinal supporters (responding to NFL media on twitter) is hilarious.

Before the game:
-playing for the one seed
-believe in playing every game on the schedule
-wanting to send a message

After the Hawks hand it to the Cards....who had all their starters in the first half
-Didn't want to show anything
-Didn't care about the one seed

We've all seen the negative comments towards Pete from other fan and some media. Imagine how much he'd get called out for a similar about face.

This was the first thing I thought of, Palmer pouting on the sideline and Arians "cardinal red" face sure didn't look like they were acting...lol

On AM sports radio down here in PHX, they were going on and on about how Pete provided bulletin board material at halftime when he told Erin Andrews that the first half was "as fun as it gets"

delusion runs deep down here in the desert.

I wonder what he'll try to spin when the results are the same when these teams meet again in a few weeks.

Oh I soooo hope that we meet again and kick their butts a second time!
Arians has gotten too full of himself, and has become pretty annoying especially with this "new sheriff in town" BS.

He played all his starters until halftime, when the score was 30-6, was screaming on the sidelines, and then pulled only Carson Palmer after telling the rest of the team they weren't playing hard enough to get pulled yet?

Uh-huh. Sorry there, uh, Sheriff, but you contradicted your own words during the actual game.

Before the game it was reported by Mort that he was going to run up the score if he had a chance. They then get their asses handed to them on a platter and suddenly the game wasn't important? Does anyone else see that something like that is the kind of thing an 8 year old would do and say?

The notion that they weren't playing to win is absurd. If that was the case Palmer would have played a quarter at most, and their team is full of older players like Freeny and Fitzgerald who were all playing. You can't honestly convince people you weren't trying to win a divisional matchup when the 1 seed was still a possibility.

Maybe they kept their play book to a minimum and kept things vanilla. If that makes them 30 points in one half worse than the level of competition you're facing in the playoffs, you have to be a little concerned.

Anyways can you imagine the fan outrage here in Seattle if HFA was on the line and we found out Pete took his foot off the gas? Gimme a break. The Seahawks are playing significantly better since the first time these two teams played and the cardinals weren't expecting it.

After taking a 19-0 lead here in Seattle when everything that could go wrong for the Seahawks did, Arizona's been outscored by the Hawks 68-26.

Sounds like Bruce is full of excuses.

he was sure red as can be in the face for a game he did not care about..... odd

What about his "no risk it, no biscuit" line that he lives by? They got shown up in their house and now he is deflecting.

Good point about the quote.

Arians is a poorer sport than Harbaugh--that's tough to do.
