I do not think this was as bad for Perna as RW3s 1st game as a Bronco.
Then Broncos expectation was that with Russ they would be contenders and seattle were favorites for the No 1 pick. That game turned one of the most unbalanced trade in history from being thought to be in favour of Denver to being in favour of us.
Even the most ardent Broncos fan would expect it will take time for Nix to get used to the professional game. Caleb Williams was the first rookie in years to win in week 1, and that was mostly due to the D.
