The two most penalized teams with a traditionally flag happy crew. Absolutely useless defense and whatever the **** Dickson did, sure let's blame the refs.

Slow down and reread my post. I blamed the defense, and Geno’s boneheaded sack. Good point on Dickson’s brainfart.

But to say the crap officiating had no effect on the game is being disengenuous.

Yeah, the refs made some sketchy calls but I didn't see anything so egregious to then blame the refs for the loss. Don't hold on the edge and you won't get flagged. Don't give them something to grab. I should've been more clear that I knew you weren't blaming the refs primarily, but most of the "but the refs" types have made it so ubiquitous to blame the refs so that even if there is an utterly egregious ref day, it's all crying wolf because too many Seattle fans cry about it every week.

If we had blown out the Aints in spectacular fashion, the general ineptitude of those refs would still be a relevant topic for discussion. As it pretty much is every week in the NFL.
