I am not a huge football historian, but I am wondering where you think the LOB would rank among the all time great secondaries in the NFL? Thoughts?

They've got to be history before that story can be told.

Yeah, too much to be written.

Who would be those great secondaries? Gotta like the late 70's/early 80's raider teams as a good point of comparison. The Niners in the late 80's/early 90's as well.

A lot of potential for sure. But, still need to maintain for awhile, and have to keep everyone in the fold.

That was pretty deep man. Now if you'll excuse me... :pimp:

True story though. This version of the LOB is LOADED with talent and "on paper" they've got to be one of the most talented secondaries ever assembled in the history of LIFE. However, as a diehard Toronto Blue Jays fan I'll personally let you know that "on paper" doesn't mean anything. Literally nothing. They've got to go out there and etch their names in the records books and the memories of all before they start being tossed about with the Raiders secondaries of the 70's or the Niners of the 80's/90's. Those groups helped their team win many a Super Bowl. Hopefully, our boys can say the same when it's all said and done.

Right now I'd put them right up there with Lester Hayes and Mike Haynes. But Oakland didn't have quite the safety combination that we have so it would be really hard to make a comparison.

Because we have 4 Pro Bowl players in our secondary, I don't think any secondary of any generation could match the talent level we currently enjoy.

Yeah, unfortunately they will be an afterthought to most of the NFL within 10 years unless they win a Superbowl.
