He's looking like he's going to make use of whoever suits up at WR.

That's about the highest praise you can give a QB.

I will say though that three of those touchdowns were gimmes, thrown to guys who had the D beat like rented mules. The in-between throws were much more impressive.

0 sacks on the night also. Darnold has been sacked just 9 times in the first 8 games. Pretty sure that has never even come close to by a Seahawks team ever.

I looked at the 2005 team. After 8 games with our HOF left side of the oline, Hasselbeck had 15 sacks. I doubt there was another Hawks team to even look up. Maybe one of the other years with Hutch and Jones. I doubt it.

I think the scheme and JSN's talent is doing a lot more to keep Darnold clean than this offensive line approaching 2005's quality. But that's not to say they aren't doing better than last year.

Tied another record, team consecutive completions record of 17 my Warren Moon.
I thought it was more than that?

Remember it being a lot. At KC, first incompletion was an interception at the goalline to basically end the half? Nationally televised game?

He's getting through looks quickly and making decisive throws.

When he's gotten in trouble is off schedule stuff, like the int tonight

He's playing really well

He's still doing a lot of great off schedule stuff. Our receiver coaches are teaching the scramble drills well.

Oh no doubt and I didn't intend to indicate otherwise

He's just getting in trouble where you'd expect

His reads, decision making and execution had been fantastic and teams need to work to disrupt him

He's not missing much out there

That wasn't my intention to imply that. I just looked that team up because i figured that they would be the most likely one to have given up the fewest sacks in the Hawks history. This line is doing better than we've had in awhile though. About middle of the pack in pressure rate not including against the blitz. I think Darnold is getting the ball out quicker than were used to and I agree, having JSN is a big part of him being able to do that.

Any way you slice it though, It's nice to see our QB as one of the least sacked guys in the league and probably in Hawks history.

They'll be doing better when we have 150 yards on the ground. Our RBs can do it if the line will open the holes.
This is why I'm on board with trading for an upgrade over Bradford. It would be very disappointing if Schneider sticks with Bradford. It could be the difference between a championship and "maybe next year".

Actually, that was just a bad throw by him.

He threw it WAAAY behind his receiver which is why it was picked.
