Thought I'd share a video about how Mike Macdonald revolutionized the scheme of the 2013 defense, I like how he breaks it down in 10 minutes, and makes it simple to understand. Most of the time, my brain gets fried watching breakdowns, lol, I've definitely never been accused of being a film nerd.

Also, wanted to share this article from Albert Brooks on NFL.com. Good read.

Albert Brooks: "Is this Seahawks defense better than the L.O.B?

I feel very confident that we're entering into the best era of Seahawks defense. And I believe it will continue even after players on this current team move on. The Seahawks have two genius's in the organization, one coaches the defense, and the other builds the roster. This team is built for success for the foreseeable future.

To me, this defense is all about the coach and his approach to execution. I see sustained success for a long time with MOB.

LOB worked because the there were a $#!+ load of HOF worthy players. The LOB scheme just didn't work with plug and play dudes, hard to replace Sherms, Kams, Bwagz, ETs, etc. That was a fire in a bottle situation.

Oh my Gob, I ain't no X's and O's kinda guy, but even I understanded the simplicity of Macdonald's defensive skeems. :)
Seriously though, can you imagine what THIS 2025 Defense would look like if it had 2013 secondary backing this D-Line?

Bullshit. There are many things that impact getting a ring, including luck. There is absolutely a discussion to be had about how this defense compares with the lob, with or without a ring.
Agree to disagree.

These next two games are the games that will cement their legacy (until their next opportunity). LOB did it by obliterating the #1 ranked offense, on the world's largest stage.

While amazing and even historical, no one outside Seattle will really remember regular season stats if they don't hoist the Lombardi.
