Have you hooked yourself up to the red zone yet? I plug into that sweet nirvana and walk around the house like a weak hospital patient overloaded pain killers & muscle relaxers with my IV drip on wheels.Popeyejones":3grbpxej said:ClumsyLurk":3grbpxej said:4. Less football on Sunday.
You're against less football on Sunday that you couldn't concurrently watch anyways?
I too don't like Thursday night games, but truth be told, it's not like they're the NFL's first choice either. The NFL is forced to deal with idiosyncratic regulations that prevent them from putting games on Friday or Saturday. IMO the Thursday night games are making the best of a bad situation. I'd rather have them than not.
wait, seriously?Popeyejones":25ehtwcj said:The NFL is forced to deal with idiosyncratic regulations that prevent them from putting games on Friday or Saturday.

Sure, Sunday feels better and so does playing at home, but this OP was all about my getting to see my team play again, on national television, and with just a few days in between. I'm going to be stoked about it because I think it's cool.
Not worried about beating the Cards as we have an excellent night-game record wherever we play. It doesn't hurt that they are very beatable right now. If there was a game we didn't want to play after four days rest, it is definitely not this one.
Go Hawks, gosh darnit!
