Either JSN was flagged for being a Seahawk, or the NFL rulebook contains a rule that prohibits flagging Mahomes for anything. All I can say is I hope Chiefs lose a whole lot more games this year, but unfortunately, they're sure to benefit from being part of the NFC-W division.

I stay in the middle…as we’ve already spent too much energy on woke vs…xxXx..vs…

But, this taunting thing in the NFL is fkng ridiculous. We don’t want to hurt feelings now do we?

Let’s take these grown ass men, full of bravado, physical specimens and freaks of nature…throw them into a contact sport where the majority of the players get paid to smack dudes through the earth…and penalize them for celebrating or doing the grown up equivalent of ‘in yo face’.

It’s subjective at best. Golden boy doesn’t get flagged but JSN does? Complete bullshit.

It needs to go away.

To be fair, the video of Mahomes doesn't actually show who he pointed at. He could have been acknowledging a teammate who made a great block to spring him. And his ball-spinning was clearly a TD celebration — when players can do almost anything they want with the ball — whereas JSN's was after a routine (albeit big) play, on the opponent's sideline.

That said, if someone is of the mindset that the NFL caters to its biggest star, these short clips would admittedly do little to convince them otherwise.

Well said.

It's such a dumb rule. You can celebrate smacking the shit out of someone or sacking a qb...but it has to be away from them. What difference does it make?

I maybe get it in college as it may get more out of hand but still unlikely.

It's up there with targeting in college though.

As much as I want to agree I can't, JSN did it on the Jags sideline towards players and coaches, Mahomes did it in the end zone and the ball was thrown away from the defender two totally different sinorios on the rule...
