Gronk is unfair. My goodness.

Well it would be nice if they actually covered him. My goodness.

He is good enough when covered.
If you don't see his greatness I'm sorry. Tom makes him look even better though by getting him in positions to exploit the defense. On a side not, Roethlisberger sucks. Antonio Brown and Le'Veonn Bell make him look way better than he is.

Run up the score Tommy boy!

Don't recall saying he isn't great.

Be nice if they covered him though

We better be able to do that with Graham. That's all I'm going to say.

Well, the teams promotes that image, don't try to change perception, you have your opinion and are a popular poster but...... I will say I can't disagree more. The whole Steeler Super Bowl was set up to celebrate that storied franchise, Jerome Bettis and add all the so called things that the Seahawks had to work thru from Buses being sabotaged, the Pistons Game announcement, the Towels and then the Officiating.

Blame the NFL for it's biased oversight maybe as well. But the Steelers were every bit a part of it.

The Pats, from the time Kraft purchased them he has circumvented rules or broke them, Start with how Belichek was hired and go forward to today.

I'm pretty sure that if the NFL had told Bill Leavy to throw the game for the Steelers, he would have thrown the game for Seattle instead. He is that incompetent. I agree though that the media was slobbering all over the Steelers before that SB, and it was really annoying, but I don't blame the Steelers for that.

Kraft isn't my favorite owner. The fact that he had Goodell's back for so long is maybe the the worst thing about him. I don't have much respect for Kraft (and I think Edelman is a POS too), but I do begrudgingly respect Belicheat and Brady. They are both damn good at what they do, even if they are evil bastards.

The headset thing is pretty funny. Not that I think the Patriots were listening in necessarily, but they probably modified the visiting team's radio frequency to be very close to the game broadcast frequency so it would be hard for them to communicate.

That plus allegedly yelling out a fake snap count and getting away with it on the 1 inch line.

Even with the whole country putting them under a microscope they still find ways to cheat and get away with it.
Sorry to disagree but it's never been funny and now it's old and offensive that they can cheat with impunity without any cost it seems. But Kraft is Goodell's BFF so what do you expect? Just because cheating is acceptable and many times it wins doesn't make it funny or right. It just makes it hollow.

At the risk of my mental health, I'm curious as to how he sounds in a Broncos / Patriots game.

Piss on both these teams.

Can't wait to see the Hawks kick the crap out of Pittsburgh.

I watched this game on DVR when I got home

My take

Both of these teams suck and will be lucky to win the first round of the AFC. I wouldnt be suprised if Buffalo Manhandled the Pats next week. The steelers D tonight could of possibly been the worst D I have ever seen in the league. Not knowing wtf they were even doing half the time or where they were even supposed to be in coverage. And the Pats D looked almost as bad. Steelers ran over time and time again and passed at will for most of the game. Steelers made a ton of huge plays just made little mistakes here and there...Pats literally didnt do anything on D.

After watching this game...Its hard to say that Ravens, Chiefs AND Colts wouldnt thoroughly tear through either of these 2 teams

As someone pointed out in another forum....

I found out two things today:

1. The Steelers are not going to win the Super Bowl.
2. The Patriots are not going to win the Super Bowl.

I learned one thing and that is if Kansas City had an actual quarterback they'd be in the Superbowl as our opponent this year. Indianapolis has no defense....as usual. I'm good with my Indianapolis vs. Seattle pick for the Superbowl. We just have to watch out for Hilton this time.

At this point I would say Indy, Pats AND Steelers all have below average Defenses and only the steelers have a running game. Colts and Pats look to be heavy passing offenses IMO

I'd say Baltimore may be very dangerous given they're far more balanced and remind me of us circa 2011-12. Loaded and totally ignored by the media.

Meh
It's game 1 of a long season. Good chance that teams don't look the same later in the year as they do in game 1
