Special Teams hit?

Watching a MikeRob interview, he seems to think our special teams play will be negatively affected because of Lane and Maxwell having to step up and play CB. What do y'all think? I'd hate it if spec teams gaffes lost the game for us.

They'll coach it up, I'm not too worried about our special teams.

They'll be fine. I'm sure that Lane and Maxwell can handle both duties. Many players do that without problems. Plus, Heath Farwell is there too.

Somehow the words RW and crack don't seem to fit together, LOL!

Yeah, I was wondering what the big deal was. Nothing indicates they can't play both, so maybe he's concerned with their reduced practice reps? He used the words "pulling them off" special teams which raised an eyebrow for me.

well one way to solve it. Kick the ball out of the endzone every time. Then at least on kickoffs special teams will not be needed.

Lane is a great gunner on special teams. Glad they do a commercial break after ko and pr's. Time to catch their breath.
