I sent CenturyLink an email and they said that Soundgarden will play first for those who care to know. That's about all I care to see.

Exactly the way pretty much all my friends are thinking. Gates open to the stadium at 2:30, I was told they play around 3pm. Perfect to just watch it from in the stadium, right in front of the Hawks Nest, facing the stage on the North side of the stadium. Don't give a rats butt about the other guy. Soundgarden, what truly matters.

Just went and saw Soundgarden and NiN on Friday. Great show!

Who else is supposed to play?

I personally can't wait to see both
I just hope Pharrell does a set like he did at the Grammy's where he played a bunch of his old hip hop stuff not just the new pop stuff

Exactly, screw being "happy", I want to be angry, and fired up for the game. Soundgarden, that'll do it! Couldn't care less about that other guy.

4:30??? Damn, that's pretty fricken lame. They tell us to be in our seats at 5pm for the festivities. You'd think the math would be done and at least have the music start at 3 or 3:30. Oh well.

Was just down there a couple hours back, stuff is building up pretty nice. Soundgarden crew was sound checking, and the stage was all lit up, looks really sweet.

Saw more details on the concert today

[urltargetblank]http://www.seahawks.com/news/articles/article-1/7-Things-To-Know-About-Thursdays-Pregame-Concert-Featuring-Pharrell-Williams--Soundgarden/4d8b7084-a643-4838-a6b7-953eeb45f372[/urltargetblank]

Basically it says that it's open to the public, and that noone will be allowed to re-enter after exiting. You can also watch the concert from inside the stadium on the video boards and that they will be having a screening of the Seahawks version of America's game as well.

Soundgarden has one awesome song that makes no sense, after that they did nothing.

I enjoy that song but thats all they have.

Some guy named Pharell

Ugh, I'm so sick of that overplayed "Happy" song.

I kept hearing this name, and in my mind it became Farrell, as in Perry Farrell.

So this whole time I thought awesome!! Soundgarden and (kinda) Janes Addiction!! Made sense in my mind..... the bands seem complementary.

Then I was corrected by someone at work, its some guy who sings the Happy song?? what the hell. Bummer. :?

Soundgarden playing only makes it worse as I am unable to make the trip. I hope you attendees take a moment to bask in the fact that at some point in life...you musta' done something right. Give yourselves a pat on the back and call in sick on Friday. You've earned it.

Wrong . . . they have an entire album that rivals any record ever put out in the history of music (Superunknown). They didn't have many singles because their music is too hard and far too complex (tunings, time signatures, arrangements) for your average knucklehead.

Too bad they didn't have Metallica with Sound Garden.
