So much for running it back.

So imagine the team re-signed every free agent so far on the same contracts. Then what? Spoon, JSN and many others will need extensions/new contracts in the near future. You want to see them walk? This is how it works. You don't over pay every role player so you can keep the few cornerstones. I honestly don't see what's hard to understand about that.

Rather than start a new thread, one thing I noticed when someone posted our draft class from 2022 and the guys who have moved on. The two guys the FO made sure they locked up were the 2 OTs.

Seems to be the opposite of the strategy when they had to make decisions from around 2013-2015

Fans should have expected a non splashy free agent period by the Hawks this time around. Not many holes, they can be patient going about filling the few holes they do have. We are the least desperate team in the league.

Not according to the Mediots and Experts, it's the Rams division to lose, we blew it not resigning Bryant, Mafe and Walker. Rams hype train already at Mach 3. Never seen a Superbowl winning team so disrespected before the first OTA's.

Folks still doubting Schneider and Macdonald? Nothing surprises me on this board anymore.
My take is the current process we are seeing is a repeat of the JS system.
So long as JS keeps filling his role and we have Coach MM to coach em up over yonder we will be in line for football heaven.

Never doubted MacDonald. Not in a single post.
I also lived through the dead years between the lost Super Bowl and MacDonald being hired. It seems he was the GM then too. And I don't give him a pass on those horrid decisions. So, not a lot to complain about the last couple of years. Hopefully that continues. We have missed the Pricey A's (understood) the Solid B's (less understandable) and are getting to the mediocre C's.

It’s funny. Some come to express their opinions on the team. Others bitch and whine about the posters having different opinions than them (because they have nothing to add.) Sad. Let’s talk about the Seahawks no matter what your opinion.

Perhaps it's because as of the moment, the Rams and every team we play don't have to worry about a run game and can just rush Sam Willy Nilly. I mean, it's not like anyone is worried about our run game now is it?

Dude, why can't you just enjoy wins?? Why do you always have to put an asterisk next to every win? Every team gets breaks, lucky bounces, etc. Welcome to football.
Honest question. Why does it have to look a certain way? Win by 1, win by 30, it counts the same. How many lucky breaks did the Pats get in the SB? SEVERAL. If Sam doesn't miss a few throws, they win by 35, easily.
Not trying to argue, but you seem hell bent on downplaying EVERY win the Hawks get. It's strange af.

We won, but we got lucky. What in the actual hell is that? Cry for attention?

I suspect he talks that way because he’s not actually a Seahawk fan.
I’ll suggest he simply follows Ohio players around the league.

I could be wrong but the body of his work suggests I’m not.

YMMV
