I just enjoyed watching the cowgirls lose on national tv after the media has been stroking them like crazy since the Seattle game. The fact that it was at home against the lowly skins makes it that much better.

The bandwagon Cowboy douchebags here in Arizona were getting unbearable. This should grant a temporary reprieve.

Romo right on schedule game 8, and so begins the Dallas meltdown. Going to be nice to AT&T stadium go back to being filled with opposing teams fans.

I wish our o-line got away with as much holding as *allas' O-line does.....

NFL doing its best to make it a Denver vs Dallas SB

GUARANTEED that if that was the Hawks, that gets called as holding. Zero doubt about it.

Yep. I am getting really annoyed with excessive holding called against us and many other "lesser" teams, and blatant holds being ignored when it is the Broncos, Colts, or Cowboys.

When you suck or are mediocre every year, you have plenty of chances to build your OL with picks in the top 16 (see Zack Martin this last draft).

Well, as English has pointed out, it's not like the Seahawks haven't invested in 1st round o-linemen.....Britt, Okung and Carpenter are all 1st rounders and the first two are tackles. Okung was much better this week and I've got a feeling it's due to health. He's always been pretty damned good when healthy. Of course "when healthy" is the kicker with the guy. Carpenter has been utter crap until this year when he FINALLY got in shape. Britt is a rook but seems to be improving a bit as the season wears on but he definitely has quite a ways to go.. Also don't forget that Unger is what, a 3rd rounder?

There has been investment in the o-line but unfortunately the results have been mixed. Is that Cable? I don't know, but he is the o-line coach and ultimately to me he's accountable for their performance or lack thereof. One thing I do know, whomever was responsible for drafting Carp blew it, be it JS or Cable or both because I'm pretty sure the team won't take the chance on a new contract for a guy they don't even know will arrive at camp in shape.

I love how Romo tried his BEST to be Romo on that last drive in regulation, but the Skins wouldn't comply. Fumbles the ball at his own 5 that somehow Dallas recovers, and then his 1 completion on the drive looked to have be a ball that absolutely should have been intercepted. This guy hasn't changed one bit, just due to pure luck he didn't end up being the story once again in a devastating loss

Dallas's O-Line didn't look too hot last night.

Brilliant scheming by Haslett, he took advantage of all those young Cowboy O-lineman by confusing them with the fake blitzes, then backing off, then sending the house, over and over, they couldn't figure it out even by overtime.

A. I hope this is a sarcastic joke, because it makes zero sense when you read it.

2. We won a Superbowl last year. What did Dallas do?

C. Yes their OL is solid, and they are playing well but the season is just now half done and their QB just got drilled.

Get a grip.

All those wasted 1st round picks.. could've been what Dallas has.

What did Dallas do ?

They came to our house and beat us. Pretty much with that OL. They single handedly took us from 1st in the league vs. the rush to 6th in one game.

The Superbowl was last year. Just sayin'

I'm not going to touch all of the back and forth. Just the tacit comment of Dallas' perceived superiority. With respect to the improved Dallas team... they're not THAT good. Their offensive success had more to do with the loss of Bobby Wagner and having a backup nickel corner playing opposite Sherman. Yeah, every team deals with injuries. But, those injuries certainly can lead to uncharacteristic struggles.

The Super Bowl last year actually does mean something. Sure, it doesn't count in this year's record and no one is saying that. The ball has bounced funny for the Hawks this season and even with all the injuries they've only lost a few close games that could have gone either way and have a chance to get things going at 4-3 (hopefully get players back in the process.)

Fortunately, champions are not crowned mid-season. Correct me if I'm wrong, but no team has yet to clinch a playoff birth yet this season. I don't see a symbol yet next to the Cowboys in the standings.
Oh, btw...news today: Cowboys Justin Durant is likely out for the season with torn biceps. Let's see what that does for them. Cardinals @ Dallas next week. John Brown one of the steals of the draft.

As long as Lord Manning gets there, they'll be happy.
I agree but they want *allas to be relevant again. I'm pretty sure Goodell wants Pey Pey to win a Lombardi this year, so I half expect an XL* like performance from Rog's henchmen.

Eh, they had to use three first-round picks to construct that OL, which I think is completely unnecessary and a waste of draft capital. Our OL took high investments as well with two first round picks and two second round picks (although one was a carry-over from the Ruskell years). I am jealous that they have Tyron Smith however; they knocked that pick way out of the park.

I think the Cowboys OL is looking better than it really is. Romo always looks this good, but hasn't had the Romo moments that we've become accustomed to seeing from him (yet anyway). Demarco Murray has hardly come from nowhere either. He's always been a great runner, he's just staying healthy for once. I'm not saying their OL is bad, but I think as the season progresses that we'll see a bit of a return to the mean.

DeMarco Murray 2014: 80 yards per game BEFORE contact. IIRC it averages out to him getting 5.6 yards BEFORE the first defensive lineman hits him.

What I wouldn't give to have that offensive line. Could you imagine Marshawn Lynch with 5.6 yards per carry before he hits the first defender? It would be UNREAL!

Edit: Heard this on ESPN radio, so no linke but I'll try to find one.
