Game plans change every game. Ours was obliterated yesterday. That doesn't mean we run the same gameplan next week.

yeah we goddam better not haha.

We should only start Wilson if we need too. So Jackson the rest of the way until we fall behind in a game by 2 scores.

Just to be safe.

On the topic on hand. No game. Regardless of the team, is a give me. We will start Wilson. HFA isn't locked up yet.

Way too much...

I wouldn't be surprised if we come out throwing the ball 70% of the time vs the Buc's this weekend.... I mean Bevell probably thinks his gameplan won this game..

Bucs don't have a pass rush.

They will next weekend. The blueprint is out. Expect run blitzes all game long.

I can get you blueprints for a building my company is putting up. Pretty sure you will be unable to get it done.........

Do a double tight-end set and then run the ball with RW. Easily done. In my dream world.

It's obvious the blue-print has been well set now on how to attack the Seahawks. Load up the box and bring pressure. There is no excuse why Bevell and the Seahawks should not be prepared for this going into this Sunday.
But to answer your question, no we don't start Jackson, we need to win every game we can win, and prove that we can counter this attack.

I can see it all now....

Pete: Hey, Tarvaris, got a minute?

TJ: Sure, coach. What's up?

Pete: Well, you know how our line hasn't been blocking so well, and how Russ has been taking a lot of hits, right?

TJ: Uh.....yeah......

Pete: Well we think you should start this week so we can save Russ for the playoffs? You game?

TJ: WTF?

I didn't want to come on here last night because I knew the knives would be flying even though we won, but yeah, our offensive line was so bad I couldn't believe it. Hard game to watch. Don't think we need to put in Tarvaris but we do need to change up the play calling.

Hes making a point to counter posters who all last week were sunshine and roses simply because MRob was back.

I think everyone realizes this, but it was such a weak troll attempt that no one cared to respond.

Should we start Jackson next week against the bucs (it's only the bucs) so that Wilson doesn't get hurt?

After all we have MRob back.

I understand your concern, but there is nothing demoralizing for a starting QB to be benched for a game, even though the reason was to protect it. It affects confidence, it adds confusion and it almost would be a season killer. It would be like a situation in how Vikings are today. I don't like it for one bit, even though I totally understand your reasoning for starting Jackson. If we are ahead, and the game is in hand, then starting a backup QB should not be that much of an issue. But Russel being so competitive, we need to let him play, grow and figure this out. He will learn how to throw faster, quicker and in tighter windows. Besides, if he has a good game Sunday, it will help boost the whole offensive team for roads ahead. I also would like Percy slowly play some snaps this game and ease into game time.

It just amazes me how some things that are so obvious to some go right clear over other people's heads.

You can gameplan all you want, it still has to be executed on the field. Which comes down to individual matchups.

The Panthers and Texans had favorable matchups. The Rams DL is usually a favorable matchup for them against our OL.

When you have the correct gameplan, execute it well, and already have the winning individual matchups, Monday Night happens.

I'm not too worried about the Bucs, and I think we have the worst OL in the league right now.
