Should the Eagles Forfeit?

Are you convinced the NFL has “fixed the script” to see the Chiefs threepeat?

5 Owls in 6 years..........must just be the refs
While it's fun to joke around about it, come on. KC is a fricken machine.

Exceptional Head Coach, The Best QB in football, an excellent OLine, a very solid D with a good pass rush. Besides that they just finish games.

The nonsense about the referees skewing the games to favour KC is just that, nonsense.

KC will have a tough time stopping Saquon but they will do enough to be close at the end and they are very good at finishing on the right side of the score.

I'm pretty much in agreement, except that I do think that the refs have, at least in the Texans game, subconsciously favored the Chiefs, less so in the AFCCG.

But I want to throw out a little reverse psychology: Suppose that the league/referees are so sensitive to the accusations of the refs favoring the Chiefs, that the Eagles get all the breaks? After all, if you're into the conspiracy theories, hasn't the league already achieved their objective by making sure that Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Taylor Swift are dancing for us during the Super Bowl?

Well if you want to take the tinfoil hat out of the equation, the question could be:

"Do you think that officiating will have a large part in affecting the outcome of this SuperBowl."

And, to that, my answer would be "Hell yes. It sure was a huge part of getting them there."

So, whether it's intent-based, or random Refs ******* up - yup, sure do think that.

Mahomes and that team are cold blooded killers when it matters. It's not because of the Refs. The Refs don't make Mahomes one of the best QB's in the history of the NFL.

KC has the absolute ideal setup. A head coach who is the play-caller and is brilliant at it. So it doesn't matter if the OC gets poached. A DC who is one of the very best in the business but was already given a chance to be a HC & wasn't good in that role, so has almost no chance of getting poached. A QB who's in the GOAT conversation already. And a brilliant GM who ties it altogether and gets players who fit their system perfectly. Add it all up and it's no wonder they're a dynasty.
