Sherman's really putting himself out there lately with his quotes, etc...i really hope he smart enough to keep things in perspective...all the popularity, or notoriety, is gone if he doesn't continue to be a baller on the field...

it's about time the Seattle Seahawks had a headline-grabbing player, IMO.

So far aside from the Skip Bayless thing, the media is the one blowing things out of proportion.

His "50%" adderall comment was completely hyperbole taken as a 'fact', all while Sherman was doing the RIGHT thing in repping the PNW by going out to support the closest thing we have (for now) to a local NHL team and getting more hawks fans in the process.

He picked up the 'trash talking' comment throughout the season for little things that aren't even a big deal. Everyone made a huge deal about his 'battle' with calvin johnson - um, all he did was playfully change his twitter name to a cartoon character's name. Not exactly a disrespectful assualt or anything.

With the exception of "U Mad Bro", everything he has said has been with interviews requested by other people. Is he just supposed to sit there and have Drew Rosenhaus say, "no comment"?

It's refreshing to me to have a player that will speak his mind. It's nice that we have balance of Cliche (Wilson), Brashness (Sherman), and
"get that camera out of my face before i punch you" (Lynch)

Huh?! ::sigh:: Free thinking individuals are being sucked up by the media I swear.

i guess i might be a little guilty of being a bit of a 'mother hen' but its just that we are so damn close to a frickin championship i can taste it...from their very 1st kickoff in the league as a kid watching these guys to now, i firmly believe, to include super bowl squad, this is the best team we've ever put together...and i want nothing, i mean nothing, to interfere or distract what this team is destined for this year...that sb ring baby!!

No wonder why I didn't see you all day at work you were too busy posting on here:)

I do have to agree we are so DAMN close!!!!

Sounded like all 14 people in the stands liked it.

Was there even that many? Im glad im 2700 miles away, I might have hurt some body if I was close with the crap rotation they put out there. It makes me only want to check the scores 2 games every rotation. Felix and Iwakuma.. Everything else is the same crap product since... what.. 95? lol

See its that bad, I dont even remember when the Mariners were worth watching

I'm glad they had Maurer catch the ball. I hope that kid can turn it around.

Love ya, Sherm, but even YOU can't get the Mariners to win. This is why I can't watch the Mariners. Horrible.

Go Canucks, though!

Orlando, FL...for good.
That's one of the best celebrity/non-baseball person opening pitches I've ever seen. Why am I not surprised? Sherman's a competitor at everything. Probably practice for an hour to prepare for it.

looks like 3/5ths of the mariners rotation could benefit from a review the tape as well. That was a good pitch.

Probably better than Skip Bayless could do.

Yesterday was the only time I've ever made it a point to tune into an Ms game just to see Sherman's pitch. Either they didn't show it, or I must have just missed it.
