It is indeed a big loss and those few advocating otherwise will likely see quite a difference in our pass defense the remainder of the year. His intelligence and guidance of everyone in coverage is easy to overlook when you become accustomed to it for 7 years.

Yes, certainly the team is capable of still making a run, but if the D starts giving up more passing yards and scores we will have to win in shootouts and I'm not sure Pete and his compatriots are capable of such gameplanning or altered strategy.

Huge loss. Not only did we lose one of the best cover CB's in the league, we lost one of the best pure tacklers also. Earl, Sherm, and Wagner wrap up. Everybody else,,,not so much. I think people are going to be shocked at how big this loss is. Going to be a lot of 'that wouldnt have happened if Sherman was out there' going on around here.
