This dude is an absolute stud. What a difference play calling makes. Completely different team when we are running his offense (RW didn't want to participate)
I understand regarding #3 but it is a major thing in the OP message. We didn't see it while other dude was here and it would appear to hurt his play calling.I agree mostly.
Could have done w/o Wilson commentary.
That ship sailed a long time ago,IMO we all need to move on.
I only point it out because it's such a gigantic shift in the way the team is playing. it's all so fresh and exciting and the offense just looked so stale with RW. feels like game 8 of watching a new teamI agree mostly.

It never seemed to matter who the OC was prior to this year.Wait, almost like the way Denver is playing? LOL. I kid. I do wonder if Shotty could have been better under different circumstances…? We’ll never know.
Schottenheimer did a very good job designing the offense around Wilson's weaknesses. The redzone efficiency and third down conversion rates were higher under Schotty than any other OC we had with Wilson. His offenses were ridiculously efficient in the red zone.It never seemed to matter who the OC was prior to this year.
Agree 100%. There was a ton left on the field while he was coordinator. The thing that's maddeningly frustrating is knowing that during his tenure that we had the potential to compete for a title had we just achieved what was there for us on offense.Schottenheimer did a very good job designing the offense around Wilson's weaknesses. He did an extremely good job of dumbing down his Air Coryell system and tailoring it around Wilson's skill sets. In the Kurt Warner reviews of Wilson's down slide in 2020, Warner even was even praising the offense -- showing that there were people getting open but Willson wasn't seeing it.
I thought Schottenheimer would be a dud, but he was far better than Bevell ever was. I think he deserves another shot at OC somewhere -- especially after seeing the Russell Wilson sh*t show in Denver under Hackett.
His scripted plays in particular were very effective.
In addition to this, Schottenheimer was able to reign in Wilson for two years. I've never seen Wilson play like he did in 2018. It wasn't his best year statistically, but he was hanging in the pocket and he looked like he was developing. I think he deserves some credit as a QB coach and OC.
