Was thinking the same. More than made up for those two passes earlier that were just behind instead of leading the receiver.

@Rat says we need to look for another QB this offseason, though.

The only blemish was the 3rd down play where he seemed to just throw it in the dirt? Make that conversion and the kick is easier and no time left for Indy to have any chance at a last second walk off

It's easy for us to sit here and say that but I don't think there was anyone open there so instead of forcing it and maybe throwing a soul-destroying pick, he dirts the ball.

I'm fine with that.

You're in FG range.

Take no chances and get the 3 points.

Only saying that as looked like the short pass was right there and a relatively easy completion but might be wrong; just on first viewing. I didn’t feel great about a 56y FG but thankfully Myers nailed it

I noticed that Myers kicks more often than not, aren't doing the lambada back and forth when he kicks them. Remember how he was earier the season?

I think he's gotten that under control a bit.

that's why I was more confident than others in him.

Sam did really well those last two drives. Took us from the 5 yard line into the red zone to get a go ahead field goal. Then with 45 seconds left he brought us back into field goal range for the game winning field goal. That is some really good stuff

They still have a tendency to start at the left post and then fade to the right… I guess I just have to accept that is part of his kicking style! You don’t see it from other kickers so always looks like an “uh oh” moment

I believe Hadid that on purpose. It looked like a LB was there to undercut the route.

It was a weird game offensively, but you orchestrated a game winning drive when you had to have it. Indy is a very good team and they are well coached.

He had times where he could have forced it, but he just tossed it in the ground. That was great to see. He knew they were in FG range. A lot of people get on Myers, but that dude has a serious leg. It certainly helps when you know your kicker can nail 50 plus yard FG's consistently. And yes, he has been pretty damn consistent on long FG's.

"but he missed that one in LA" in 3....2.....1.......

I think the concern was that the receiver might not have been able to get to the sideline to stop the clock. Better to dirt the ball than let the clock run out while trying to set up a rushed FG.
