Anyone know if the M’s have ever held a team to just one run for an entire three game series? Would be quite the accomplishment.
I'd be very surprised if that's ever happened. If it happens today, that would be the point when no one can any longer dodge the bulletin that the M's pitchers are for real. But whatever happens, we just need to get the W, since every game counts -- especially what with the slew of other contenders in this horse race remaining neck and neck and nearly so...

Have to settle for 2. :)

Just like we started the season, back east, playing in the rain. Not as bad as that Chicago game...yet. Welcome to the Bigs, George. :)

Am hoping they can get this game in.
M’s have a lead and 2 runners on with no outs.

Kirby is going to be done after that delay.

They kind of have to finish it. It's the last time we see them this year. At least get the requisite 5 innings in.

Yeah, kind of worried about Kirby and a long delay. Not good for his arm, for sure.

Not necessarily. The Mariners and Guardians share a day off on the 26th and Seattle is in KC the day before, while Cleveland will be going home for their final homestand. Easy to just make up the rest that Monday, if need be.

Looks like they're starting back up!

Guard put Hentges on the mound to finish the top of 4.

Toro should have scored on Julio’s single @ Top of 10.
Runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs and don’t score.

These guys must be exhausted. Away game after away game after... Then 4.5 hour rain delay?

Back to back sweep. Should be able to sweep Chicago White Sox too.

I really like Cal.. you know he's going to put some wood on the ball during a crucial moment.

Maybe, but we're starting the series with a tired bullpen. ;)
Yep and the W. Sox starter in game one has been pretty good lately.
Gonna need good Marco to show up tomorrow. The 7IP 1ER Marco, or the offense has to stay hot.

Then they need to start working their starters a bit longer. Otherwise, the offense needs to step it up a little bit more to give some cushion.
