Kid can’t catch a break, this makes sense.
It’s probably better it’s not a knee issue.
Yabbut, when did he hit his head? I'm drawing a blank.

Also yeah, glad it isn't a complication on his knee.

Oh, and this is a good time for him to rest. You can (and did) argue about missing a game against the 'Stros, but the O's and Texans are probably the best series for him to miss overall. ;)

Kirby seems to have some control issues. Missing with his fast ball quite a bit. Nice 4-0 lead after 2 is nice.

Just explained Lewis concussion. Was hit by a pitch, glanced off his shoulder and hit him in the side of his head. His helmet came off as he tried to duck. Now I remember that. He didn't come out of the game at the time. Apparently no symptoms for a bit.

Trammell has been a nice edition. Not sure if he can keep it up, but prefer him so much to Souza and a struggling Kelenic.

Yeah, Trammell has at least contributed.

Kirby was a little shaky at first, but 6 scoreless with 8 Ks/1 BB. Nice quality start for M's 5th in a row.

Elias closes out the shutout. Good way to open up the road swing. Glad to see we didn't play down to their level.

Did something recently spark a killer instinct in the M's?
Being embarrassed by Oakland could have gone two different ways. Looks like they went the good way and decided they were better than what they were producing. But yeah, love to see them get an early lead and then keep adding on along the way. (y)

And Ray has his "one bad inning" early tonight. 🤦‍♂️

And the bats are cold again.
